Checking my Email like every morning is my routine while job hunting.
'Another couple of "thanks for applying" but not a single one for an interview. my fucking luck' I think while drinking my coffee.
I spend some time checking on forums, then go to the gym.
After I come back I take a shower and when I'm back at my PC I see a notification. It's an Email about something that's gotta do with an update on the Essences of Trouble. seems like an interactive version of it has been posted.
Clicking the link I get sent to a black screen with some gothic white script. with a countdown timer for 15 minutes. I chuckle. how fitting with how the whole Jumpchain was introduced.

The World
Once you have made your choices, you are free to move on to the world you will be spending your ten or more years in. This can be one of the worlds from where the Essences hail from, or it can be any other world you desire to go to. Your destination can be wherever you desire. May you have a pleasant journey with the powers you have chosen
Fuck it. let's go with something vanilla. Buying the Three Essences for (400) More power for (400) and Blackboxed(200). Also picking up the freebie for ignoring any part of the essence.
Just like I like my first jumps, I decided on a quite balanced build, consisting of a body-focused essence, an army-building essence, and a crafting essence.
first is the Tinkerer of Fiction Essence, with just a quick adjusting, Taking away the whole "you can't imagine, but the tech has to already exist" and basically making it so I can build anything I want as long as I have the mental capacity to imagine it. and knowing myself I would be a lazy ass cunt and just build enough tech to survive or to boost my harem in the fiction.
The Second was the Body Essence, while Vultermite and Kryptonian etc would be nice… it's just meh, a bit too op. So let's go with Spider essence, good balance, also Morlum and inheritors to destroy as they come to "hunt me down" only to realize that they have become the prey of the spider, caught in my dark and unforgiving web of death, Taking everything I can from the spider essence, including venom blasts, camouflage, Controlled pheromones, stingers and fangs, telepathy, after image, night vision, and the immortal oz body. Parker's intellect and the symbiote who I only make Partially sentient. picking the black and deep purple color scheme just because I already have the next essence in mind.
Finally the Army building essence? Shadow Monarch. so let's level up and take all of the other advantages. army included.
as for the aspect with only 10 minutes remaining… well let's go with Alucard True form from Hellsing.
Since I can choose any world I want and keep the three (Worm from Tinkerer Essence, Any World with Spiderman, and Solo Leveling) as an escape in case I need to jump out of the one I chose now, since it gives me the "at any point you can jump to these worlds"
choosing the freebie for fanfiction. Let's go with an alternative Marvel world where there is a reversal on the whole sexual chasing dynamic. Beauty standards stay the same just horny girls and frigid guys(except me hehehe). A mix of MCU and the FF and a sprinkle of the X-men movie/comics here and there.
as for time let's go with 2012.
quickly thinking I take the 10 extra years drawback and gain 100 extra CP and quickly chose the Essence companion 1 for 100. leaving me back again at 0 CP
Essence companion: Elder blood. phisical Aspect: Cirilla. with all of the perks like Master Swordswoman source, and mage, Witcher. and the Wishing Djinn. Totally Loyal. and a fair maiden that fancies me (not yet unconditional love) with matching libido levels. Personality: Loyal, Caring, harem= Willing to participate. Tomboyish.
finally the Cannon(free) option for the ticket for a character of my choice. As for characters… let's go with Anna-Marie aka Rogue: X-men Comics.
and since you can buy as many as you want. let's go with a second ticket this time Gwen Stacy Aka Ghost Spider. Aka Spider Gwen.
With a few seconds left, I click on "finish"
The screen gets bugged and I try hitting the monitor only to get absorbed into it. "holy shit!" is the only thing I'm able to scream before I'm sucked in totally falling into a void of code and bugged-out pixels.
While traversing this matrix I keep on Hearing an ominous voice over and over again telling me over and over again
