Dale didn't reply, merely turning around to face Erile once more.

"I apologize for the bluntness, but shall we?" Dale asked as he stopped before Erile

"Erm… Okay!"

After focusing, her embarrassment went away as she walked past him.

Dale gave Huy a nod before going after her, entering the depths of the Church's complex.

After a series of corridors and rooms, they arrived at a small room with a large, three-meter-tall statue built at its center. A depiction of a lady in a long veil covering most of her features, as if a dress of flowing water covered her.

This was the innermost prayer room meant for priests and devouts so outsiders wouldn't interrupt them.
