Right after she made the pitch, Oliver marched into the room with a worried expression drawn across his face, I instinctively picked up that this had something to do with Davien.

"Pen, I'm sorry to come in after you said to give our Luna some space, but I need to talk to him about something." Oliver said as he sauntered over to me. I could pick up on Davien's scent on him, it was faint, but still there.

"What part of no don't you…"

"It's fine Penelope, there's something I want to ask him myself." I chimed and sat up, ignoring the bitching pain in my abdomen and waist.

Penelope huffed, "The Alpha will definitely not like this…" she muttered to herself before leaving the room. Once she was gone, I let out a sigh and asked, "How's Davien?"

"Do you want the truth? He's barely holding up, he went out for a run and hasn't been back since. I think he's out of our territory."
