The acrid stench of sulfur clawed at their senses, assaulting the air as Eve and her companions entered the tavern, the very place where the last victim had been taken. A heavy silence enveloped the room, laden with the weight of fear and sorrow.

Eve glanced at the sobbing woman not too far away from them. "It must be the demons. The demons have taken many people… this place is no longer safe." The older woman looked pale as she clutched the arm of the woman who tried to comfort her. "We should leave. We should leave this place! I told you… this place is cursed! It is cursed."

"Anita, calm down… Lord Onel is already here…." The woman patted Anita's head, her expression one of sorrow. "Lord Onel, please help us. This has been going on for months. If we do not hunt the demons, then… then I'm afraid that all of our children will be taken. We simply cannot let this happen."
