"Hey hey hey! It just debuffed us! We only brought along one priest!" Kelly's words fell on deaf ears as the three Dames and the two adventurers including Hermes and his Axe-bearer set out around the guardian, ready to counter the incoming attack.

"If we can't cancel the debuff!" Hermes raised his sword, the axe came hurtling down.

And the man parried it right away.

The guardian, thrice the size of them all, tumbled forward as Selena and Kristine immediately slashed the back of its feet.

"Then we just have to debuff the enemy as well!"

At his words, the Hermes party's priest, Maria stepped into the battlefield. Her hands clasped into a prayer, she closed her eyes.

"Oh! Goddess! Thou that rules over the night… TAKE AWAY THIS BITCH'S LIGHT! HAHAHAHAAH!"

The knights felt a pang of fear in their hearts as the priestess' cackling echoed through the valley. The laugh alone was a debuff enough, unfortunately, friendly fire was active with this one.
