Chương 6: It's A Privilege

They didn't know that attending STC is not a right but a privilege. It was difficult for the school to accept students. They have to critically evaluate their students before entering.

Many girls out there wanted to attend STC like us but they didn't have the opportunity.

In my life and stay at STC j realized that thousands of people in this World don't value the little opportunity they have until it slips out of their hands.

I also learned that many people are not grateful for there way God made them. There were some girls that would go on complain for an hour about their height, color, body and many more. They weren't happy, I tried to teach them to be grateful for there way God made them.

Others want their height but they don't have legs. Others want voice but they are speechless or mute. Others want to walk around and enjoy the Earth but they are sick and bound to their hospital beds. Others don't have eyes!

Why are we so ungrateful and unappreciative as humans?

To attend STC is not all about there grades. Believe me if it was about that then millions of girls would have attended. There principal and vice principal Sr. Evelina De Guliomo and Ms. Wokie Kpanyor valued grades. But above all they taught me one thing I will never forget in my life.

Life is not all about academics but your character. You don't show there World your GPA for them to classify you as successful or wealthy.

They taught me that it's the character that matters. STC train you to become a better girl for the future, a female with high self confidence, self esteem, self respect and self dignity.

A female with good morals that will represent her school as a queen and her country where ever she goes.

A female who won't be intimidated by a male but will fight for there right thing and justice will be done to all. A female who will help fulfill there "United Nations Sustainable Development Goals."

That's the kind of person you become after you walk out of the gates of St. Teresa's Convent.

I believed that I could conquer and I did.

Always appreciate and be grateful for the things you have be it small or large because others do not have it and they wish they were you.

Remember, do not wish to be like others because you are you. God made you special and unique.

I was bullied, mocked at during my stayed at STC by the devil agents but that didn't stop me.

I didn't care if my shoes were toned from under. It would dirty my shocks form under but I didn't care. I believed that I could get more opportunities and that was my focus.

I knew that if I got what I believed God has promised it me, I could buy a shoe that is worth ten thousand United States dollars. But I can't do that as there are many who need that money to change their lives.
