Shi Tian merely kept a smile on his face, not acknowledging nor denying her claim. Of course, it was pretty clear that the ambushers had been disposed of by them, but none of them had evidence. 

Not to mention, do they dare to investigate further or expose the matter? 

The answer to that question was quite obvious, given that even Phoebe had decided to swallow this matter and instead looked for him to join her. 

Phoebe also didn't plan on speaking of this matter further. Both were clever people, so there was no point in trying to make everything clear. 

Instead, she decided to continue on with explaining her objective. "It's a unanimous decision among us commanders to eradicate the monster wave completely this time. While our main goal is the same, it's hard to say that some of us wouldn't want to make others suffer some losses." 

With that said, Phoebe kept a meaningful smile on her face.
