"Tso Lan... when did you... when did you escape from hell?"
Shendu stared incredulously at Samuel, who stood before him.
Although Tso Lan had taken on a human form, Shendu recognized him instantly as his former brother.
But that was simply impossible!
Demons could not escape from hell.
After the eight great demons were defeated by the immortal gods, they were sealed away in hell for eternity.
By all logic, the eight great demons should have had no chance to escape, as the only way to open the gates of hell was with the Pan Ku Box!
But the Pan Ku Box was left in the human world by the immortal gods, rendering it unreachable to the demons.

He had been sent to the human world through the combined efforts of the other demons!

Shendu was at a loss for words.
Samuel was right; after leaving hell, he had indeed forgotten his promise to the other demons and chose to rule the world alone!
But he never expected to encounter a damnable sacred warrior, Lo Pei!
Not only did Lo Pei defeat him, but he also stripped him of the Twelve Talismans, forcing his soul to reside in the coiled dragon statue...
Shendu despised Lo Pei!
"Ah!!!!"
