Chương 25: Chapter 22
A few miles outside the premises of National City, a bunch of D.E.O. agents can be seen grouped up with many military equipment like rocket launchers amidst the crowd of D.E.O. agents was Nathan.
It has been a day since Nathaniel informed Alex and Kara about himself as someone from another world and today is Kara's test as field agent of the D.E.O. since she decided to work with them and she is currently flying around the atmosphere at the location while dodging missiles.
"She is quite impressive."
Nathan commented to some of the agents around him as he watched Kara through a binoculars that he brought with him from his house.
"I know that but what I want to know is the reason why you are here, you refused our invitation to join us?"
Nathan's comment about Kara which drew Alex's attention and she came towards him and asked why he was here in the first place since he declined their order to recruit him into their ranks yesterday.
"Why do you sound annoyed, is it because I'm here? If so then you have to consult your sister about it since she was the one who invited me to with her."
A curious smile appeared on Nathan's face when he heard the annoyed tone that Alex asked him the reason he was here but that turned to a charming smile right after he told her to consult with Kara on why he came with them to the place. Nathan then continues watching Kara in silence with Alex standing beside him and giving him secret side glances.
BOOM!
"My sister just broke through the sound barrier."
Kara broke the sound barrier for the first time in her life which impressed Alex very much to the point of looking at Nathaniel with a look that was asking if he could do that.
Nathaniel upon seeing Alex's expression just shook his head and compared the current Alex to a child who has seen something impossible being done for first and asked her mother who has seen it many if she has seen such a thing before.
"That's good but, fire again."
BOOM!
Hank issued the launch of two more missiles to go after Kara again after seeing her break through the sound barrier.
The two missiles followed after Kara who just made the crash into each other and exploded before flying back down to where the team is located.
BANG!
"What do you think about that?"
Kara asked Nathaniel after landing a few meters away from his and started heading towards them since Alex was standing beside Nathan.
"That was amazing, Kara."
Alex met up with Kara even before she could reach them and complimented her on her performance with a sisterly smile on her face to which Kara responded to her with the same smile but her attention wasn't on her but on Nathan instead.
"That was very impressive."
BEEP!
["Sir, there is an emergency that could lead to a massive explosion at National City Port"]
Nathan knew what Kara wanted to hear and he gave it to her but immediately as he did, his bracelet beeped and Alexia updated him on an emergency. Kara at the same time also received a notice of the situation from her comrade in arm.
Both Kara and Nathan stared at Alex immediately after they received the alert almost at the same time while Nathaniel's suit started forming on his body.
"Well, I have to go."
"Wait a minute, are you sure about this? You have been dodging missiles and flying around almost all, don't you think you need to rest a little."
Kara said to Alex and Nathaniel and started distancing herself from them in order to take off but Alex tried to stop her from going due to her worrying about her overworking herself.
Hearing this made Kara stop and turn to face Alex.
"For the last twelve years, I have been hiding who I was but I don't have to do that anymore and I also don't want to waste any second of it to save a life. Besides, this seems like a job for Supergirl."
BOOM!
Kara blasted off towards National City immediately after saying that leaving behind a slightly dissatisfied Alex who turned her head towards Nathaniel.
"What?"
BOOM!!
Nathaniel asked her why she was looking at him even though he already knew why and before Alex could tell him to look out for Kara, he dashed off towards National City at a speed that broke through the sound barrier twice.

[National City Port]
Currently at the National City ducks, a very dare situation was in progress as you can see a freaking ship carrying almost a million burrows of crude oil and just right beside the ship was the spreading fire with the firemen trying their utmost best to stop the fire from getting to the ship and causing an explosion.
SWOOSH!!
"How can I be of help sir?"
Kara arrived at the scene and landed before a fire service officer and asked him how she could be of any help to the situation while taking a look around.
Nathaniel also arrived not a second later and stood beside Kara's side while also taking a look around the scene.
"This ship holds almost a million burrows of crude oil and if the fire gets to it, it will explode like a two-ton bomb."
"Are you up for this?"
The chief of the firemen present debriefed Kara and Nathaniel on the current situation and Nathan asked Kara if she was up for it. He may have responded to the situation but he was by no means going to something about it unless Kara wasn't up for the task since this was her city and also her earth.
"Yes, yes I can do this."
Kara nodded her head to Nathan and stood forward after taking in a huge amount of air. He intended to blow the flames away.
