King Leonardo gazed at the arena with satisfaction. The sword was ready to descend and sever the defendant's neck. However, the commotion around him was incredibly distracting. King Leonardo turned, but it was already too late.

A masked knight had leaped from the high wall surrounding the arena, dropping onto the executioner and knocking his sword from his hand. Swiftly, the knight stood on the executioner's shoulders like a circus performer, gripping the bald head with both feet and twisting it forcefully, causing the executioner to scream in pain before collapsing to the ground.

The knight promptly subdued the executioner with a needle loaded with paralyzing drug. "Damn! Why is he still moving?" The knight stabbed two more needles, cursing under his breath. "He used up the rest of my needles."
