Chương 182: He Belongs to Me

Lots of feelings were stirring inside Louis, like a big wave about to crash. He felt super touched. Hearing Alicia say these things really moved him.

He hugged her tightly, his arms circling her thin shoulders. He was so thrilled that Alicia had a hard time catching her breath. They were so close, their bodies and hearts pressing against each other. Only their clothes were between them. They could hear and feel each other's heartbeats. It was a nice feeling.

After a while, Louis broke the silence. "Three years ago, I was a mess and couldn't even look after myself. Why did you pick me?"

Alicia didn't like him talking down about himself. She pulled away from his hug, placed her hands on his face, and looked straight into his eyes.

His eyes were dark and deep, twinkling like stars. The sadness from three years ago was long gone. But, she could still remember how cute yet weak he looked back then. His eyes showed loneliness.
