Chương 62: Chapter 62 Who's Behind Dan?

"Tell us! Who sent you?" Chuck asked firmly, holding Dan's neck with a stern expression.

Dan's bruised face twisted in pain as he struggled for breath. Gasping, he said, "N-no one, I promise! If there was, I would've told you..."

Chuck understood that no matter what he did, Dan wouldn't admit anything. He didn't want to seriously hurt him, so he told the police, "Look through his phone calls and see who he's met with recently."

The officers quickly answered, "Yes, we'll start investigating right away." They stopped, realizing they didn't have to follow Chuck's commands. Even though he used to be part of an International Special Troop, they were in their own country, and everyone had to follow local laws.

Chuck looked at the clock on the wall, his face serious. "You handle him. We're going. This might have been an attempted attack, but it really scared the person involved. Make sure he's punished properly. I'll be watching this case."
