Even though the voice of this Chuck was unlike the one that echoed in Alicia's heart, she couldn't shake the feeling that it was this very Chuck in her mind who had called her name.
Pausing briefly, she wiped her eyes and turned to face his striking, chiseled features—features that bore no resemblance to the Chuck she once knew.
Pulling herself together, she smiled and asked, "Mr. Hanson, did you call for me?"
Chuck grabbed a business card from his desk and approached her, "Here's my card. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to reach out."
Alicia took the card, saying, "Thanks."
"We've got a bunch of high-end collectors around here, including those into ancient paintings and calligraphy. If any of them need restoration services, can they hit you up?"
Alicia grinned, "Absolutely."
Chuck smirked and added, "Awesome, we'll be in touch."
"Sounds good." Alicia tucked his business card into her bag.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
