Jessica dropped Claire some metres away from school 🏫. It irritating enough to allow Claire ride the same car with her and she had only agreed to that because of her father nonstop talk about been nice to her cousin.
But having the students of P. H. S seeing her together with the classless countryside commoner is a no - no for her, she just can't risk it. So she dropped Claire in a place she knows she can never get lost. After all, she had order her driver to give Claire a tour to school and back home like two evenings ago so that she could be familiar with the route she will be taking.
The driver zoomed off the moment Claire drop from the car. Jessica put on her earpiece and play a cool k pop song on her phone. She was slowly shaking her head to the tune until a call came in and disrupt her peaceful moment. She checked the caller and it turned out to be Cathy. She smiled and swipe the phone to answer.
📞 Hey Jess.
📞 Hi Cathy.
📞 Why are you not in school yet.
📞 Am already on my way, are you there already?.
📞 Yep.
📞 Wow you are quite early today.
📞 My dad actually drop me off.
📞 ohh, okay. I will be there in 5.
📞 I will be waiting.
📞 Is Bella there yet.
📞 No.
📞 Okay, bye.
📞 Bye.
She ended the call and return her earpiece to her ears.

Claire was walking at a very fast pace, she doesn't want to be late. Just when she was a few step away from school, she turn her head and catch a glimpse of Bianca and her cousin. She stopped walking and turned around fully. She watched carefully as they approached her.
" Hi Bianca ".
No answer.
Bianca walked past her and continue walking towards the school gate. She quickly run after her and get hold of Bianca's hand. Bianca yanked her hand away from Claire's hold and glared angrily at her.
" I and Ryan are a thing now " Claire told her but instead of replying, she just turn around and walk away with Ciara.
" I just want you to know so you can stay away from my boyfriend " Claire shouted after her but she didn't stop or slow down her walking step.
Claire bite her lips hard and sighed. She really wish she could eat her cake and have it. Bianca has really been a good friend to her and she has been a good friend to Bianca too until Ryan came into the picture. If only she could have the both of them, a best friend who will always protect her and the guy she loves. But since she can't have them both, she have made her choice and she hope she never regret it. Bianca can't always have it all.
She know Ryan is just using her to satisfy himself but she won't give up, not now, not ever. She will make him fall for her badly even without him knowing it. She already lose her friend because she want him, she won't lose him too.
She can't get her friend back because the deed has already been done but she won't lose him too, it a promise. She will do everything to keep him with her, she thought looking at the direction Bianca took. She clean the tiny droplets of tears that drop from her eyes and continued her journey to school.

" How much more shameless can Claire be? " Ciara asked Bianca as they settled down in class. Ciara is sitting on a seat close to bianca since the person sitting there is not yet in school.
" I mean she still has the gut to announce her relationship with Ryan to you ".
" She is one hell of a bitch, a shameless one at that ".
" How could they betray you like that ".
" They both must have been in a relationship for long before you caught them ".
" No one can be trusted, my life has always been without friends and i always feel bad about it "
" But if this is how friends are, i would prefer to live my whole life without any "
Ciara keeps talking on and on. And as Bianca keeps hearing what she is saying , she felt hatred for Ryan and Claire continue to grow in her heart.
Those two, they did the unthinkable, she wondered for how long they had fool her. They must have scorn her whenever she say good about Ryan to Claire or about Claire to Ryan.
They must have laughed scornfully at her behind her back when ever she brag about having the best of all best friend and boyfriend.
She understand that life is not a bed of roses 🌹 but why is her thorns this sharp. Her heart has been shattered by those she thought will protect it.
She was still lost in thought when she began to hear screams. The few students in her class began to rush outside.
" The angels are here, do you want to come see them? " Ciara asked and she shook her head in negative.
" Okay, then " Ciara said and rush out as well.
She sighed, the ' angels ', are they not the guys from the other day? Are they not still going to enter the class, so why did Ciara still have to go see them outside. She hissed. Rubbish, total nonsense, she thought and place her head on her desk.
Some minutes after placing her head on her desk, she began to hear footsteps entering the classroom. She didn't bother to raise her head, she guessed it must be the students returning to class.
She felt someone tap her and she raised her head thinking it was Ciara. But it wasn't, it was the guy from yesterday. What is his name again? Hmmm...Bryan, yes Bryan. What does he want?.
She raised her brow in a questioning manner
" Hi " he said to her smiling.
