Chương 174: Future Madam

"I didn't write that!" Nathaniel said as he took a step back, hitting the door behind him. He had no escape. He had to confront Maya. 

"But I'm sure you approved it," she said as she pointed to her phone.

"I said I trusted your Grandfather and Clark," he desperately tried to defend himself, he really didn't know that she was mentioned to be the future Madam of the De La Rue family. He had no idea who had placed it, but he didn't want it taken down.

He was happy to claim that she was his.

"And you didn't think they would pull something like this?" Maya demanded.

It could be either of them and it seemed like something they would actually collaborate on to do. Clark probably told Carlton Miller that Nathaniel was unlikely to check the statement since he trusted the Millers.

"Do you want me to have the article pulled down?" Nathaniel offered.
