Chương 24: Help Me Get the Recordings

After the meeting with Ye Qing Xin, Zhang Yu Ying headed back upstairs to her office.

On her way up, Zhang Yu Ying could not help but ponder over Ye Qing Xin's request to investigate Jin Tian Yi as well as the accident that happened a few months ago.

Actually, Zhang Yu Ying already figured out the perfect person could help her to investigate Jin Tian Yi. But as for the accident... she might have to look for someone else. The most important thing was to look at the CCTV recording of that accident.

But a few months has passed. Zhang Yu Ying wondered if they could still obtain such a recording.

Zhang Yu Ying truly wanted to help her friend. She thought that losing her memory was pitiful. As a friend, she hoped that Ye Qing Xin would find her memory again.

As she walked out of the elevator, Zhang Yu Ying happened to run into Su Ming Yuan who just came out of his brother's office.

The two of them exchanged a look. Then, Su Ming Yuan walked over to her side with a faint smile on her face. "Ying Ying, why did Miss Ye look for you?"

Zhang Yu Ying gave the man a lookover. The look in her eyes was telling him not to mess up with her. "Brother Ming Yuan, Miss Ye is my friend. Of course, she came over to catch up. Why do you often ask about her? I told you that you should not think about messing up with my friend."

Of course, Zhang Yu Ying would doubt this man's words. After all, Su Ming Yuan had a lot of girls... friends. Still, she thought that Ye Qing Xin should not interact with someone like Su Ming Yuan. Especially now that she had her memory loss.

Su Ming Yuan clicked his tongue. "When did I ever think about messing up? I was merely striking a conversation with you." He pulled a face, but there was no trace of unhappiness on them.

Growing up together, they were used to joking around like this.

"Your brother said that everyone is going to gather at your grandpa's house this evening," Su Ming Yuan said. "Ying Ying, don't forget to remind Jun Hao about this."

"Oh. I know." Zhang Yu Ying nodded.

She had heard that the boys were planning to play basketball at her grandfather's house. Initially, the game was supposed to be somewhere else.

However, her niece, Zhang Li Xue pestered her grandfather to grill her some chicken wings. Because of that, the game was changed to be at her grandfather's house.

Just as she was about to turn around, Zhang Yu Ying suddenly recalled her conversation with Ye Qing Xin again and stopped on her track. He watched as Su Ming Yuan walked over to the elevator and spoke his name, "Brother Ming Yuan."

The man stopped on his track and raised a brow.

"I have something I'd like to ask you."

The look on Su Ming Yuan's face turned serious. "What is it?"

Zhang Yu Ying walked over to Su Ming Yuan's side and spoke, "This is about Miss Ye's accident. I was hoping that you could help me to get the recordings of her vehicle from the CCTV along the road."

"Why do you want to look into it?" His brow furrowed.

The accident happened a few months ago, but Zhang Yu Ying was asking him to investigate this matter now. Of course, Su Ming Yuan would find that it was strange.

"We were talking about her accident earlier," Zhang Yu Ying said. "I was suddenly curious to know how she got into the accident. I remember that Miss Ye was a cautious driver before."

Su Ming Yuan thought about Ye Qing Xin's accident that he had read on the news.

According to the news, Ye Qing Xin has been speeding before the accident before losing control of her vehicle.

He pondered over Zhang Yu Ying's request for a while before nodding. "Alright then. I'll look into it."

Zhang Yu Ying flashed a smile. "Thank you. Brother Ming Yuan, you are the best."

Su Ming Yuan resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "I'll get back to you when I got the recording." Turning around, Su Ming Yuan entered the elevator and left.

As soon as the elevator door was closed, Su Ming Yuan could not help but ponder about Ye Qing Xin. Each time that he heard her name, a strange feeling wound arose in his heart.

However, no matter how long he thought about it, he still could not figure out why did he think that her name sounded familiar to him.

Meanwhile, Zhang Yu Ying watched as the man left. Then, she turned around and knocked on her brother's office.

The man's deep voice was heard from the other side of the door.

Zhang Yu Ying pushed the door and entered the room. She watched as her brother jotted something on the documents before raising his head up.

"What is it?" Seeing that his sister was standing still without saying anything made him curious.

Zhang Yu Ying flashed a smile. "Brother, I'm leaving the office early today."

Zhang Yu Han put down the pen in his hand and leaned back on his chair. "Where are you going?"

"To look for Jun Hao," Zhang Yu Ying said.

"Have you finished looking into the documents I send to you earlier?"

Zhang Yu Ying batted her eyelashes. "I have. Brother, I'll send it back to you before I head out."

"Alright then. Go ahead." Zhang Yu Han nodded. "Remember to come over to Grandpa's house this evening. We already planned to play a few rounds of basketball."

Zhang Yu Ying could not resist rolling her eyes, knowing that her brother considered their basketball game a very important event.

After saying a few words to her brother, Zhang Yu Ying went back to her office and packed up.

She planned to look for Wei Jun Hao and asked him to investigate Jin Tian Yi. Among the people she knew, her husband happened to be the best person to ask for this favor.
