Chương 10: Chapter 10
The sun was already starting to set in the underworld.
Akira who was walking through the forest, let out a small sigh, "Sigh! I've been walking for a few hours, and that man still hasn't returned."
Two hours had passed since Hypnos had thrown him into the forest, since then he had been walking aimlessly, waiting for Hypnos to return.
At first Akira thought about trying to break the barrier, but soon gave up on this idea, first because he felt he was not strong enough for such an act. And second, he feared that the unknown man would return the moment he felt the barrier was being breached.
"Maybe I should train to pass the time."
With these thoughts, Akira decided to look for an area that was open enough for him to train.
While looking for a place to train in the forest, Akira felt a strange demonic energy pulsing in the air. He couldn't tell for sure where such energy was coming from, but it seemed that something was watching him.
"There must not be any monsters strong enough in this forest to make the energy pulsate in the air. So what is causing this phenomenon?"
He kept walking, now more cautiously, until he finally stopped in front of a huge tree.
The tree looked ordinary, but at the same time it seemed not to be.
Akira approached the huge tree and touched its rough bark with his hands. The moment his fingers made contact with the tree, a magical array appeared in front of him, causing him to take a step back.
The array disappeared as quickly as it appeared, but Akira felt that something had changed. He looked around, but saw nothing different. Then, suddenly, a voice echoed behind him.
"Who are you?"
Akira was surprised to hear a female voice coming from behind him.
When he turned his face to see who the voice belonged to, he had one of the biggest shocks of his life!
'Impossible!'
'How is it possible that she is awakened at this point in history?'
Akira's head was a complete mess as he saw the person who had spoken to him.
The woman looked at Akira with a curious look on her face, "Are you mute?"
'Who the hell is mute? I'm just shocked by your apparition!'
Obviously Akira didn't say that, and just shook his head denying the woman's question.
"So... Who are you?"
"I... I am Akira, a devil who has been waiting for his awakening."
His mind had worked in stride to come up with an excuse to awaken the woman in front of him.
With a puzzled face, the woman looked Akira up and down and asked, "Do you know me?"
'Do I know you? Pft!'
As he looked at the woman in front of him, Akira's mind worked quickly to remember all the information he knew about her.
Runeas Gremory, the first generation of the 'Gremory' and also the founder of the House of Gremory.
Her youthful appearance contains an unmatched transcendental beauty with a huge bust. She has wide lavender-colored eyes and red hair with two side-parts and a small crown-like accessory on top of her head.
Even though she looks young, Akira knew he could not underestimate her, because she had fought in the Great War against God and his Angels, and not only that, she managed to come out of such a battle alive. Of course, she kept her survival a secret, and chose to fall asleep to avoid mental aging.
"Damn! My luck really sucks! First I didn't talk about completing my mission to die under the heroine's hands, but until then it was okay, since I could try to survive in the current world, but just after thinking I wouldn't have much of a problem anymore, I was caught and taken back to the underworld by an unknown man, and now I meet the ancestor of the Gremory clan."
"What comes now?"
"Nyx coming after me? Or rather, Ophis appearing in front of me?"
Obviously this was only in Akira's thoughts, after all, he knew that it was impossible for Nyx or Ophis to appear in front of him, especially when he is some nobody.
Looking at Runeas, he nodded and said, "Runeas Gremory, this is your name."
Runeas looked surprised at the boy in front of her, she didn't expect him to know her name, since the current generation of devils probably didn't even know she existed, of course, that didn't include the members of the Gremory clan.
"You don't seem to be from the Gremory clan, so which clan do you belong to?"
"I don't belong to any clan, in fact, I am a reincarnated devil."
"Reincarnated devil?" Runeas asked doubtfully, it had been a long time since she had last awakened, so her knowledge of the current underworld was lacking.
Akira knew that this was one of Runeas' weaknesses, since she spent a lot of time sleeping, she lacked the knowledge of the current underworld, which would allow him to use half-truths to throw off her attention as to why she was awakened.
Of course, even if she asked, he wouldn't know the answer. After all, he had only touched a tree that ended up triggering a magical array.
"Besides, how did she end up in this forest? If my memory serves me right, she should be sleeping in the Gremory House."
Poor Akira, little did he know that Runeas would indeed be in the Gremory House, but that was in the future.
Unfortunately the knowledge he had about this world was only about after the original plot began, and everything about this world's past was vague to him.
Knowing what he should do, Akira gave a slight smile on his face as he explained to Runeas what it meant to be a reincarnated devil.

"Oh! Ajuka is really smart, thanks to this system of Evil Pieces, the problem of the low number of devils can be solved easily."
Akira was mentally relieved that he had managed to distract Runeas so that she wouldn't ask about how he had awakened her.
"It's really easy to fool a thousand year old devil." He thought with a smile on his face.
Runeas who seemed lost in thought, soon gave a mischievous smile as she said, "Hey~ you seem nice, what do you say we play a little?"
"Huh?"
Akira was stunned for a few moments as he saw Runeas' rapidly changing expression. He knew that this woman liked to play tricks on others, so he was already prepared for whatever came.
"Play?"
"Yes, the game is very simple."
"You will tell me a story, and if I like it you can ask me anything, but if I don't like the story, then you will have to tell me why you awakened me, and also why you are in the forbidden forest of the Gremory clan."
Cold sweat dripped down Akira's back as he heard Runeas' speech.
He knew that his plan to divert her attention had failed.
'Damn, so this is the Forbidden Forest of the House of Gremory?'
'That damned man! So that's why he didn't come back, he was probably ordered to throw me into this forest!'
Another series of misunderstandings had begun....

"Ah-fooooof!"
Hypnos who was disguised as a doctor sneezed causing the doctors beside him to look at him strangely.
"Who could be talking bad about me?" He thought.
