Chương 65: Back Up, III

I was still laying on the ground with my back, I could feel my muscles and basically every part of my body aching all around.

Step, Step, Step.

I slowly shifted my head as I heard the soft steps approaching us, facing in the direction where the source of sound reached us.

"W-What happened…?" It was Haruka Maki who stuttered after eyeing the sight in front of her, including me laying like a long plank and the slouched Soobin in her knees.

My eyes widened as I stared at her body.

Her face, the left side, was fully burned and messed up. It was visible to me she was having difficulties just blinking her left eye let alone the pain she must've still been in.

The clothes on her left side were also burned, and parts of her skin were exposed and visible for me to see.

"Ah…"

I tried mustering up whatever force I had to stand up, bow, and apologize to her.
