Chương 4: Chapter 3: The killing intent
(A/N) : I'm gonna use feminine pronunciation because he's a girl now. if you don't like it guys, just tell me, and I'm gonna change it.
after Yato flew away from the fight scene, she soared through the sky and wondered where she have to go, soared through the air, feeling the wind rushing past her face as she flew over the city.
She was impressed by the towering buildings and advanced technology of this new world. But as the sun began to set, Yato knew she needed to find a place to rest for the night.
After wandering for a while, she finally Spotted what look like an abandoned building. in the center of the city, Yato landed gracefully on its rooftop.
after making sure that the place is safe, The girl sat on the edge of the building, her legs dangling over the side. She looked up at the night sky, mesmerized by the beauty of the stars twinkling above her. She was a spirit, and she knew that she had to be careful. those girls in the suit battle clothe was out there, hunting down her kind and killing them without mercy.
As she sat there, she couldn't help but wonder why humans were so afraid of spirits. She had never done anything to harm them. She knew that she had to stay hidden if she wanted to survive.
She looked down at the city below her, watching the people going about their business. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy.
They were free to live their lives without fear of being hunted down and killed. She took a deep breath, feeling the cool night air fill her lungs. She knew that the road ahead would be difficult, but she was ready.
after a while, Yato decided to leave the building and explore the city. or at least the area around her, just out of curiosity.
However, as she walked around, she noticed that people kept staring at her. She realized that she was still wearing her Astral Dress and needed to change. She sneaked a look at a nearby clothing store and chose the most decene clothes, and then she found her way to a dark alleyway and changed her clothing with spirit power. normal jacket and jeans, that is what she chose.
'i wonder if that is considered a steal' she thought feeling quite guilty
As she was about to leave the alleyway, she heard a strange noise in the distance. It sounded like laughter mixed with the cries of a dog in pain.
'oh no..., I hope it's not what I'm thinking about, yato thought, she know that if what her mind telling her was true, This night will not pass peacefully.
she moved toward the source of the sound and soon found a gang of five young men kicking and hitting a small dog. The poor creature yelped in pain and fear with each blow.
Yato was filled with rage and sadness at the sight, and she quickly moved to intervene.
'if they don't take my first warning seriously' Yato thought while trying to keep herself calm,' they are died'The gang members noticed her presence and began to approach her, leering and making obscene gestures.
"Hey, what's a pretty little thing like you doing here?" one of them sneered. Yato glared at him, her eyes flashing with anger.
"I suggest you leave this place and take your cruelty with you," she warned.
The gang members only laughed, thinking her warning was a joke."You know, you're pretty cute," one of the gang members said, his hand reaching out to grab her."Maybe we could have some f...",
and before the guy finished his sentence she launches a powerful fist at the guy face and dropped him cold, She didn't punch him with all her might. if she did, she would shatter the guy's head from its place. even in her weakened state in this dark alleyway.
but she didn't, if she did, the other gang members would run away
and she doesn't like to chase.
the other gang member takes a while to realize what just happened,
and after that, all they did was, laugh.
"holy shit, hahahahahaha she really made him Lose consciousness", they keep laughing" And here he said that he can take the other gangs all alone hahahahaha, what a loser hahahahaha", they keep laughing.
after they stopped, They turned their attention to the girl standing in front of them. the girl didn't show any sign of fear
"I have to say girl, you got some impressive strength there, but the only reason you defeat that guy was that he dropped his guard down to you, but that not gonna work with us, so what about just giving up, I may let that slide, and give you some good time," the guy said while giving her a big smug
"understandable" yato said without any sign of emotion.
"good girl", the gang member said, his hand reaching out to grab her "Don't worry we gonna be gentle"
"you guys don't learn," said yato emotionless
"wh.."
Yato was too quick for them. She darted behind the guy, grabbed his arm, and twisted it behind his back. He screamed in pain as she applied pressure to his wrist.
"Stop!" he shouted. "Stop, it hurts!"
Yato kept her grip on it and started to twist more. slowly and slowly
the other members didn't believe what they witnessed right now. A girl barely weight 45 kg (99 pounds) or less grabbed their leader who weights more than 95 kg(209 pounds), more than twice her weight
"Bastards! What are you waiting for, help me, she gonna separate my hands from my body", the gang guy shouted with a terrifying voice full of pain
those words snap the gang back to reality
they move to help their helpless leader,
but then, they quickly fell to the ground without their realizing
" what the happen, why is the world spinning around me like that", one of the gang members said
they tried to stand up but at the same speed they fell down again"I don't feel good, my head is about to explode," the other one said. even one of them starts to throw up
Their leader didn't understand anything. "what's wrong with them!" said the gang leader confused.
"Don't worry boys your turn's gonna come soon, Enjoy my little gift while I work with your little friend," a cold and terrifying sound said.
the guy felt cold in his spine. he moved his head up to see if that sound really comes from that little girl's mouth and then what he founds was ... a demon.
her face was white, so much white to the point her body looks as if there was no blood inside it.
she smiled at him while her eyes radiated a terrifying red light and you can see a terrifying black aura around her body the only thing the gang guy was thinking of, is to save his life. he knows for sure that his life is in danger now...and so, he starts to cry without realized
"I'm sorry please, I have family, that was just a stupid thing for me to do, so please if you let me live I am gonna change for a bett..."
"do you know what the Maximum rotation angle of the human shoulder is?" said the yato.
he didn't answer.
"I SAID. do you know what the Maximum rotation angle of the human shoulder is? you have 3 seconds to answer", she starts to count"
"3"
"2"
"1.."
Realizing what was happening, he answered quickly," I don't know, I am sorry please...." he shouted while crying
"oh the poor child, don't cry, it is normal to not know, Humans are creatures that seek to learn, so I'm not gonna hurt you for that," yato said smiling at the guy.
"so .."
"But ...", she continues not caring for him to finish his sentence."...what a coincidence, I also don't know the answer...so what about finding that out together, should we ?" she said while giving him a bigger smile.
he starts shouting terrified, "No no no no no no no no please no no", knowing what going to happen next
she starts twisting his hand but slowly. He starts to shout in pain! even more, He could hear his muscles rupture, and see the blood starting to spurt
"hihihihihi wonderful, humans are wonderful" she shouted in joy while twisting the guy's arm even more.
until...
"woof"
yato snapped back to reality, realizing what she was doing.
quickly retrieved her hand from a boy making him fall unconscious from the pain." what i was doing ?", yato said while trying to understand why she did go that far.
"I was enjoying ...that? ", yato said confused.
she didn't want to think more about it, so she turned her attention to the dog.
Yato walked over to the dog, which was lying on the ground, whimpering. She could see that it was badly injured, but she knew that she could heal it.
She closed her eyes and focused on the light once again, channeling it into the dog's body. The light pulsed through the dog's veins, healing its wounds and restoring its strength. As Yato opened her eyes, she could see the dog looking up at her, its eyes full of gratitude.
"You're safe now," Yato said, her voice soft and gentle. "I won't let anyone hurt you again."Yato picked up the dog and cradled it in her arms, feeling a sense of satisfaction and contentment wash over her.
She knew that she had done the right thing and that she had saved an innocent life." the dog that you were hurting was the one that saved your lives, I think that should be a good lesson for you guys," said yato giving them her back
"try that again and you guys gonna meet your fathers... fatherless assholes," said yato while leaving them behind.
As she walked through the city, people stared at her, but she didn't care. all she wants now was to go back to her "new home", or what she called that abandoned building.
"I have a good place for you, my little cute friend, so let's go there," said yato in a warm voice.
but then.
"Excuse me?", a boy with blue hair approached her, "do you have a minute?" said the boy.
turned her attention to the guy.
"Who?

(A/N): while I was writing this scene, I remember that there was already a similar one in the show
What a coincidence
anyway here is the new chapter, I hope you guys like it, I'm already working on the next one.
it should be ready to publish tomorrow.
but man the writing and the story plot, are becoming harder and harder to write each chapter
I want to write something special and make the mc with a unique writing style
with a good plot building for the story.
and that ... hard
