[Granian Mothership]
"Grand Master, the gas has successfully filled the planet's atmosphere."
"Very good but, I can't help but feel there is a downside to this!!"
"I apologize, Grand Master but, only a small fraction of the humans have been infected by it."
The Grand Master frowned deeply as he looked at the Granian who was speaking to him. "And you're apologizing why? This wasn't meant to turn everyone into mindless brutes."
"Well, there seems to be an issue and we do not know what it is. I...I think we didn't calculate properly because the ones who weren't infected were the young people. The elderly have been infected but the young are still alive."
"What about the subject? We have two field operatives down there. Any communication from them."
"They returned not so long ago but they have nothing much to say. They believe he ran into one of the countless bases in the vicinity."
"Take me to the others, NOW!!" He commanded.
The other Granian led the Grand Master to the lowest level of their twenty-floored ship. This level was where all the beasts, creatures, and specimens they captured from other planets were kept, including the other three humans.
The Grand Master was led to the extreme back of the ship, and since it was the biggest, he had some walking to do.
As they walked past their captured victims, they'd get all sorts of roars, snarls, grunts, hisses, and even curses from the already angry victims who would want to kill them as soon as they got out.
Sadly, they were kept inside a small cell with a thick, hologram pane that kept them away from escaping. Some of the captured creatures were ugly-looking blobs of goo, while others were large, ferocious beasts.
The Grand Master, however, didn't care about these ones, since they were all primitive.
The only non-primitive ones he'd ever captured were the three humans kept far away from the rest.
The two Granians eventually arrived at a sectioned wide cell that was white in color and had the three humans in there. The cell was about twenty feet wide and twenty feet high. It had two glass panes in the middle to separate the three humans.
The first human was a middle-aged man who was clearly losing his mind. He was sweaty with patches of his hair missing. His eyes were dilated as he sat still in the corner.
When he saw the Grand Master, he quickly jumped toward him as his skin turned into a milky-like substance. Like Ace, he was a blood mutant too but his form wasn't as red as Ace's.
His head, arms, and legs were a royal blue color while his torso was as white as milk.
His body hit the hologram pane as he roared with his mouth wide open. "Let me go. Let me go, SET ME FREE!!!" The Grand Master didn't even bat an eye toward the large man.
He instead turned his attention to the second human, a man in his early twenties with multiple tattoos all over his arms and a cynical look on his face.
When he saw Grand Master, he pointed his middle finger as he scoffed at him.
"Can this one transform?" Grand Master asked.
"Err...we don't know yet, Sir. He hasn't cooperated yet and his blood lust hasn't even spiked at all."
"Really?" Grand Master asked in shock. "The blood mutants we covered craved blood, didn't they? How can this one not want to consume any?"
"We wondered the same thing, Sir. It's just that we haven't gotten any progress or response from him. But, this third one has something I'd wish for you to see." The Granians went to the third section and were greeted by a magnificently horrifying scene.
This cell had dry bones on the ground with a couple of scales lying around. The walls had green and red blood stains with the words *LET ME GO* written.
Grand Master grinned with pleasure as his eyes searched for the one responsible for making this scene.
"Where is she?" Grand Master asked the Granian.
The Granian replied. "Look at the ceiling."
The ceiling had red, blood veins sticking on the walls like a net. The net was so thick that the Grand Master failed to see the one responsible. "Where is she? I do not see anyone. Don't tell me another subject escaped."
"Err...Impossible. There's no way she could have escaped." The Granian panicked as he opened the cell to check properly.
The doors closed shut after he entered, making him regret his stupid decision.
"It's a trap." Grand Master muttered to himself.
"Sir, please. Let me out. I don't want to die yet. I'm still of great use to you. Let me out!!!" He pleaded but the Grand Master didn't show any signs of concern. "Those bones all over the floor. Those are from past Granians, correct? You've been feeding them to her. It seems only fair you die the same way."
The Grand Master was cut short by loud gnarls that sent shivers down his back. His heart started pacing as he watched the Granian inside quake in fear.
From the nets above fell a young girl with orange hair tied up in a ponytail. Her clothes were stained with red and green blood and her hands and legs were partially transformed.
The girl, who was Cherry, stood still with her head hung and her back hunched.
The Granian stepped back as his back touched the hologram pane. "Please, Sir," He cried. "I don't want to die."
"You should have thought of that before killing your own."
The girl tilted her head and smiled eerily as she said, "He left me behind. You kept me in that tank for I don't know how long. You separated me from him and he left me behind. It's only fair I keep one of you for nourishment."
"Please....don't kill me. I have a family. You wouldn't want to take me away from my family, right?"
Cherry's smile turned into a frown as she said, "Do you hear how stupid you sound right now? You know, I was going to go easy on you but....YOU'RE NOT WORTH IT ANYMORE."
Like Ace, Cherry's body started to transform as she entered her blood-mutant form. Her hands turned into deadly claws.
Sadly, she didn't have the height advantage like her brother but she didn't need it after all.
She too had a red form and she also had her hair sticking out, making her look different. Her feminine figure also showed in her transformed state.
*ROAR*
The Granian knew he wasn't going to escape so he instead chose to fight. He raised his fists up as he shouted, "I'm not scared of you. I'M NOT SCARED OF YOU."
Cherry laughed as she stuck her tongue out and screeched. The Granian swung its heavy tail and hit her head, although she barely moved an inch.
Cherry grabbed the Granian's tail and hit its body against the wall. However, the creature jerked its body and managed to get free from her grasp but that wasn't the end for it. Cherry threw out a powerful punch but the Granian ducked at the last second, missing it by an inch. It then quickly landed an uppercut on Cherry's chin in an attempt to knock her out. Her body fell to the ground as she turned back to her human form.
The Grand Master was highly disappointed and sighed heavily. The Granian who knocked Cherry out knelt next to her body as he checked for her pulse. "Phew, she's still alive."
"But you won't be for long."
Cherry's arm turned into sharp claws which she used to claw the Granian's throat. The Granian quickly stepped back as it held its bleeding throat. "You....you tricked me."
"Boohoo, sucker." Cherry smiled as she held out her hand. The blood spewing out floated to her flesh and absorbed into her flesh.
"You know, you creatures have surprisingly delicious blood." She folded her fist and all the blood from the Granian drained from its body and dissolved into her skin.
She then looked at the Grand Master and said, "Yours will be the most delicious of them all. HAHAHAHAHA!!"
