Registration for Foundation Games took place in the Royal Coliseum. At other times, the place hosted theatrical performances; but now, it was given fully to the Games.
Despite the early time of the day, dozens of people came to the Coliseum to register or to watch the future participants of the Games. Guards moved the loiters away, and separated the others into several queues that led to desks where registration officials worked. On the side of the arena stood a large noticeboard with the rules of the Foundation Games. There, another dozen people gathered, trying to read what was written over each other's shoulders.
Cael looked at the registration queues, then towards the noticeboard. He and Ginevra were on their own here today, since only they wanted to register.
"I will look at the rules, Gin, you get us a place in a queue."
"Got it."
At certain points I feel like I move the story too far from the interesting stuff. Do I? It's hard to estimate from the perspective of the one writing the story. When you are so close, you don't see the big picture. That's why I rely on your feedback so much! <3 just watching you reading brings me satisfaction
