Two more interrogations to go. Two more demons to see. And an infinite amount of information to process before the night was over. Likely, I wouldn't sleep this evening. I have to take care of things before I can take that luxury.
The next demon didn't spout as much nonsense as Embry did. In fact, he barely spoke after my initial entrance to his cell. His name was Uther, and he was a loyalist as well.
This means that, like Embry, Uther wanted the old gods to return. If that wasn't possible, they would prefer for the realm to remain in control of the demons. He wasn't a big fan of mine. Which meant that he never relaxed his tone like Embry did.
Embry might be able to work as an attendant in the castle. To serve me as a form of punishment. It might seem like slavery, but it wasn't truly the case. He would have a time limit on his sentence, and as long as he didn't break the laws again, he would be free to go when his time was up.
