There was utter chaos outside. That was the only way to describe it. The castle was burning. The grounds looked like a bomb had been set off somewhere. Hell, it even looked like a tornado had ripped through or something. There was just so much destruction.

"This isn't right." Rudy said as he stared out the large ornate window with us. "What did they do? Why did this happen?" There was pain in his voice as he looked at the destruction before us.

"I don't like this." Lex said, his voice tense, and angry. "Something happened here. Something horrible. And it's dangerous. You should stay here, Talia. Let me figure this out." 

"No." I snapped at him as I watched the chaotic scene beneath us.
