*~*Reagan's POV*~*
The utterly surreal atmosphere of the room was dizzying and distressing. When Reia and I stepped into the living room, everyone was already there, as promised by my mom. Instead of saying anything, we just walked toward our seat. There were no greetings from anyone, because they were all just as tense as we were.
Finally, after sitting there for a moment, I looked at my mom with tense nerves and broke the silence.
"So, it's bad news then?" I asked her, my heart barely beating with the tension that was plaguing me.
"Yes. I know that you were all hoping that this wasn't the case, but I will just say it and get it over with. Ula was among those that escaped from the prison. She and thirty-eight more prisoners, a total of thirty-nine escaped the during the surging waters."
"Do they know where she is?" Makai asked, looking not at my mom, but at his mate that was sitting frozen next to him.
