Tension thickened in the air for a few moments. None of us knew exactly what to do or say. It was clear that we were all still trying to think of what to do next. Surprisingly, it was Haley, the human, that finally broke the silence.

"I..I think that I should go and confront Bethany." 

"Over my dead body." Elias roared into the silent room in response to her words.

"Listen to me, Elias, I know that Bethany is not a killer. She might have gotten mixed up in this group by accident, but I am sure that she won't actually hurt anyone. We didn't get along, but I did live with her. I know her better than any of you."

"If you go to talk to her, then I am going with you." He commanded. I could tell that he was not willing to let her get hurt.
