Venice Italy, 7 p.m. ...

Daisy's POV

I took a deep breath after finishing one of my assignments. I immediately saved the files on my laptop, then turned them off. after that, I stood up, and walked towards the open glass window, allowing me to see the beautiful scenery around me. No, it's very beautiful.

Tall buildings between the canals with clear water, there are small bridges, there are several boats that are driven by one person and couples are sitting there to see the view. Immediately I thought of Richard who had left five hours ago. I don't know where he is... He didn't contact me, even during our marriage, he never communicated with me by phone. And I don't have his contact number yet.

This is crazy, a wife doesn't have her husband's contact number? That's me, who else? This unexpected marriage still feels strange to me, sometimes I still don't think that I am the wife of my sister's future husband.

'Irina...what are you doing now? Are you all right with Ferdinand? Will you regret one day that you left Richard? Are you going to be mad at me because I took your position to be Richard's wife?'

I kept wondering to myself, feeling homesick for Irina but also scared. there was a sense of guilt because I took her future husband, but it all happened because of her too. I thought Richard wasn't so bad, even his mother took me very well.

I glanced at the diamond ring on my ring finger, reminding me of Richard's mother who advised me to be patient with Richard and try to win his heart. Maybe she knows that her son is quite stubborn and needs a wife who can control him. but, what can I do? Now he's not even in the mood to invite me to enjoy the atmosphere here? I'm not sure he will love me.

I jumped when I heard a baritone voice near the door. I turned around and found Richard who had come with a red and yellow paper bag. He looks so handsome and cool wearing a gray suit and a long black robe with feathers on the collar.

"Change your clothes!" he cried, throwing the two paper bags onto a large bed covered with white sheets. "Today I have given you enough time to complete your college assignments... Now it's time for you to do your duty as a wife!" he continued curtly.

I swallowed, stunned at the thought of my obligations as a wife. 'Could it be that he wants to have sex because I'm over my period? Should it be this fast?'

"Daisy!" he snapped, I immediately approached the bed. "Sorry... Um, but what should I do?"

"Don't ask too many questions, just wear that!" he said, then walked towards the couch while taking off his coat.

I turned to take a red paper bag, then I took out the contents were black lingerie complete with a thin white robe. I was shaking, stunned, imagining having to wear it now. But, like it or not, I have to do it, because I'm his wife. He has the right over me until whenever I try to prevent him, he will continue to try to suppress me.

"Have you eaten yet?" Richard asked, distracting me. "Um… Not yet," I said.

"Why?"

"I don't have time," I said, switching to take a smaller yellow paper bag. "I'm busy with my tasks," I said again while taking the contents of the paper bag.

Perfume? I frowned when I saw the contents of the yellow paper bag were perfume. It made me think did I not smell good that he gave this perfume to me?

"I saw there was a nice perfume so I bought it for you," said Richard.

"I thought you didn't like the perfume I'm used to," I replied.

"Hmm...quickly put it on..."

"Ok..."

I walked towards the changing room available in this room because this room is quite spacious and the best. With hesitantly, I took off my hoodie suit, then switched to wearing the thin lingerie and robe.

Richard's scream awakened my reverie. I immediately put on the perfume, then put it on the nightstand. After that, I rushed out and saw Richard standing to greet me.
