The soft hues of twilight had begun to paint the sky as Ryuki stood outside with Yuzu, the warm summer air wrapping around them like a humid blanket. Despite the recent bath, beads of sweat began to form on their skin, the atmosphere thick with an unspoken anticipation. Yuzu, with her casual short-sleeved top and hot pants, seemed completely at ease. In contrast, Ryuki still wore his school uniform, the fabric clinging to him slightly in the lingering heat of the day.
"Hey, Yuzu..." Ryuki broke the silence, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "Why are we outside right now?"
Yuzu turned to him, her expression playful yet serious. "What do you mean, Ryuki? Isn't it obvious?"
A small frown formed on his face. "Don't tell me… is it really that?"
She grinned, a hint of mischief sparkling in her eyes. "Well... you could say it's exactly that."
He stared at her, processing what she said. "Seriously…?"
