Chương 61: Little Garden

As they sailed on the river, they all saw large forests on both sides, while the air was filled with the sounds of various animals and birds. Nami looked at her pose log and headed back into the forest before she could speak.

"I don't know," said Nami, causing Luffy to look at her with a raised eyebrow. "Usopp may be right on this," he said, causing Usopp to look at Nami with expectant eyes.

"We can wait for the pose log to record the island's magnetism from the ship. "We don't need to go ashore, and once the pose log is successfully reset, we can leave and never look back," said Nami in a slightly scared voice.

"Correct!" Usopp and Karoo said while saluting.

"I don't mean to scare you guys, but we don't know how long to wait for the log pose to reset," said Luffy as he started walking down the stairs. "There are some islands where the pose log only takes a few minutes to reset, then there are also islands where it takes several years," Luffy said, causing all the crew's eyes to widen.

"B-a few years?" Usopp said while kneeling. "We're going to die!" he shouted to the sky.

"Calm down, Usopp," said Luffy, trying to control his sniper. "We don't know for sure, so calm down," he said before walking to the side and looking out into the woods.

As he gazed out into the forest, a large tiger emerged from the bushes and began glaring at the ship while looking at Luffy, who stared back with his usual emotionless face.

"I've never seen a tiger that big," Johnny commented, grabbing his bison just in case.

"Neither have I," Vivi said as she walked over and stood behind a very frightened Karoo.

As everyone stared at the tiger walking beside the ship, the tiger suddenly stopped, and his eyes widened before he suddenly coughed up blood and fell to the ground. Even Luffy was shocked by what he just saw.

"What could kill such a giant tiger?" asked a very frightened Nojiko.

"I don't know," Luffy answered, getting worried for the crew. "Alright, this is far enough," said Luffy before he turned around and looked at everyone.

"Johnny, Yosaku, drop anchor," Luffy said, causing them both to salute before they dashed to the front of the ship and dropped the anchor.

"We've taken him down, captain!" Their shouts caused Luffy to nod his head before he turned to Sanji and spoke. "Sanji, can you make me some lunch?" "I want to boost my energy," Luffy said, causing Sanji to nod and walk into the kitchen.

"Increasing your energy for what?" Nami asked as she stood next to Nojiko and Vivi, who were all holding their hips and looking at Luffy tapping his feet.

Luffy would never admit it, but the way the three of them looked at him made him a bit nervous.

"I want to go island exploring, so I want to increase my energy in case I have to tussle with a T-rex," said Luffy nonchalantly.

"Mmm, Luffy," Vivi said, getting his attention. "Is it okay if I come with you?" Vivi asked while looking out into the forest. When everyone heard her asking like that, they all stared at Vivi with wide eyes.

"What!?" Nami shouted while looking at Vivi. "Vivi, you're not serious!" he is screaming. Vivi just smiled at Nami before she answered.

"Well yeah, I don't want to stay here doing nothing and just worrying about my problems," he said happily, causing Luffy to smile.

"You know, for a princess, you're pretty cool," said Luffy as he leaned against the railing.

"It's official, Luffy has ruined Vivi," said Usopp, shaking his head when, out of nowhere, a bolt of lightning descended from the sky and struck Usopp, causing him to fall on the floor and burn to a crisp.

Everyone looked at Luffy and only saw him whistle innocently as he started walking toward the kitchen. After lunch, Luffy and Vivi, who rode on Karoo's back, set off to explore this new island.

As they ran through the forest for a while, they suddenly stopped as the ground beneath their feet shook as if experiencing an earthquake. When they looked up, they saw a Brachiosaurus eating leaves from a very tall tree.

Suddenly, the ground shook once again before one of the Brachiosaurus' heads flew up, causing Vivi and Luffy's eyes to widen.

"What could kill such a big beast!?" shouted or asked Vivi.

"No what, who?" Luffy said, causing Vivi to look at him as if he had gone mad. "Look at the wound; it's a clean wound." "If an animal kills it, there will be bite marks," Luffy said, causing Vivi to understand. Luffy then turned his attention back to the beast and saw a gigantic figure standing over it.

"Gegyagyagyagya!" the figure said before bowing to the heights of Luffy and Vivi, scaring Vivi and making Luffy wary.

"I am the greatest warrior of all Elbaf; I am Dorry!" Gegyagyagyagya! The giant named Dorry said this happily, causing Luffy to let his guard down a bit.

"She's a giant," Vivi said in disbelief as she looked at Dorry. "I've heard they exist, but I've never seen one before," he said.

"I'm Luffy, and I'm a pirate; nice to meet you," Luffy answered the giant.

"Gegyagyagyagya! Pirates? "Good for you, young man," Dorry said with a laugh.

"And this is Vivi and Karoo," Luffy said, pointing at the two of them, causing them to stiffen up a bit.

"Gegyagyagyagya! "You're all invited to my house for lunch like this," Dorry said, making Vivi even more scared. He was about to refuse, but Luffy spoke before he could.

"We are honored," said Luffy, causing Vivi to drop to her knees and start asking questions in her head about whether it was a good idea to come with Luffy.

"Wonderful! Gegyagyagyagya!" Dorry said before placing her enormous hands in front of them. "Jump," he said, causing Luffy to nod and stomp his hand before looking behind him for Vivi, only to see her and Karoo slowly crawling up to the hand.

The giant started walking towards a giant-sized rock with a very large hole while carrying the three of them in its right hand and the headless dinosaur in the other.
