"Stop," said Luffy as he spread his arms to the sides. "I'll handle this," he said, then sparks of blue electricity circled around his body. He then looked at the sky, which was filled with flashes of lightning, and then spoke quietly toward the sky.
"Raging Thunder!" Luffy said while clenching his palms. Just as his fist closed, thunder rumbled over the sky, and then 50 bolts of lightning descended from the sky and struck Momoo and all the fishmen except for Arlong and the three fishmen that Luffy encountered earlier.
The strike electrocuted all of Arlong's men and killed them, and because Momoo was in the water, Luffy's lightning strike made him suffer even more. However, even though he was in the water, Momoo did not die.
Luffy assumed that maybe it was because of his size that the lightning wasn't strong enough to kill him. Thus, the lightning strike only made Momoo faint and float in the pond. The eyes of all the villagers widened because of what they had just seen. It was like lightning coming down from heaven and killing all of Arlong's men.
"What kind of man is he?" asked one of the villagers.
"He defeated—no, he slaughtered all of Arlong's men with one strike," said the village doctor.
"That's the greatness of Bigbro Luffy; he has devil fruit powers," said Johnny, giving enlightenment to the villagers.
"Devil Fruit Power?" Genzo asked and got nods from Johnny and Yosaku. "I thought it was just a myth," he said, looking at Luffy. Arlong and the three remaining members were stunned when they saw their dead brothers.
"You're taking all the fun out of this, Luffy," Zoro said, causing Luffy to laugh before replying.
"Don't worry, they're just trash." "They're not worth your time," said Luffy before pointing at Arlong's three remaining henchmen and standing in front of Arlong. "That's your target," said Luffy, causing Zoro and Sanji to smile while Usopp was shaking.
"How dare you?" Arlong said this with anger all over his face. "How dare you kill my brothers?" Arlong shouted before turning to his three remaining men and shouting orders. "Kill them! Kill them all!" he is screaming.
"Ready, boss," they said, and the three of them immediately rushed at Luffy. However, before they could reach Luffy, Zoro intercepted Hachi, Sanji intercepted Fishman with a strange elbow, and Usopp, remotely from outside Arlong Park, used his slingshot to send a firebomb at Fishman with a long mouth, causing the Fishman to chase after Usopp.
Luffy looked at Arlong from the same position from which he had entered Arlong Park.
"Why don't we let our underlings fight first before we start?" Luffy said this before he took out a bottle of whiskey and summoned a thundercloud to make a throne for himself to sit on.
Luffy then poured himself a drink as he sat back and watched all of his crew members fight the fishmen. Luffy used this time to see how Sanji and Zoro's fighting styles were going, so he could decide how to train them to use Haki. Luffy stopped his observation at Arlong's voice.
"You have devil fruit power," Arlong asked, causing Luffy to roll his eyes.
"You just realized that?" Luffy asked in a bored tone. "I thought you already knew it when I killed all of your men and sent your pet cow to the dream world," said Luffy while shaking his head.
"How dare you?" Arlong growled from his seated position as he glared at Luffy with a loathing expression. Then Luffy and Arlong's attention turned to Zoro's fight with Hachi. When they looked at the swordsmen's fight, they saw Hachi in the air with all six of his swords broken and blood gushing out of his body.
His body fell to land behind Zoro, causing dust to fly. When the dust cleared, everyone saw Hachi lying in a small crater, unconscious. Luffy looked at Zoro and saw that he was in very bad shape.
He still doesn't seem to have fully recovered from his fight with Mihawk. "Even so, he managed to beat a pretty strong Fishman with a badly injured body," Luffy thought to himself before he spoke to Zoro.
"You did well, Zoro." "That's what I expected from my vice captain," said Luffy with a smile as he looked at Zoro. "Get some rest now; you deserve it," said Luffy as a thundercloud descended in front of Zoro, who immediately passed out on top of him.
Luffy then turned around to watch Sanji fight and was shocked by what he saw. Sanji's fighting style seems to involve only his feet, but the thing that confused Luffy the most was the fact that Sanji didn't use his hands at all.
In Luffy's mind, Sanji's fight would be more effective if he used his hands, but everyone has their own style, which represents who they are, so Luffy can't tell them to stop being who they are. Luffy then witnesses Sanji kicking a fisherman that Luffy knows is named Kuroobi through the main building of Arlong Park.
"Well, my part is done," said Sanji before lighting a cigarette. He then looked at Luffy and started walking towards him and Zoro.
"You did well, Sanji." "Now all that's left is Usopp," said Luffy before taking a sip of his drink.
"Do you think it's a good idea to let Usopp fight the fishermen alone?" he asked.
"Yeah, he'll be fine," said Luffy while looking at Arlong, who was looking at the fallen figures of Hachi and Kuroobi with anger in his eyes.
"How... how come!?" Arlong screamed. Humans can't beat fishermen! "We are superior beings in every way, form, and physique!" Arlong shouted before he stood up from his seat, causing Luffy to do the same.
"I guess it's my turn," said Luffy before downing his drink. Just as Arlong was about to run towards Luffy, he saw someone behind Luffy and smiled. Confused, Luffy then turned around to see what Arlong was looking at and saw Nami wearing a straw hat with her shoulders bandaged and her staff in her hand.
"Hi, Nami," said Arlong. "Did you come here to watch me kill this pitiful little pirate?" Arlong asked arrogantly.
"I'm here to kill you," said Nami in a cold voice that surprised Luffy a bit. Arlong was about to respond to Nami, but before he could, Usopp's voice cut him off.
"LUFFY!" Usopp shouted from behind the crumbling wall, causing Luffy to smile. "I'm here to help," he said with a smile. Usopp looked like he had been through hell and come back to life. His nose was broken, there was dirt all over his body, and his body was also covered in bruises.
"No way! Chew defeated?" Arlong asked in disbelief as he stared at Usopp. Usopp just smiled and gave Arlong the thumbs up. Luffy chuckled before he turned his right hand into lightning and sent it towards Nami, causing everyone's eyes to widen.
The lightning hand shot toward Nami faster than she could even move. Nami then closed her eyes, waiting for the pain to come, but nothing did. Nami slowly reopened her eyes and saw Luffy put the straw hat that was on her back on his head. Luffy smiled at Nami before he spoke.
"You need to relax, Nami," he said as he put his hat back on. "Your punishment is coming," he said again, causing Nami to shiver in fear of what Luffy had planned.
Luffy then turned towards Arlong and spoke. "Time to die, shark," he said, causing Arlong to start laughing.
"Shahaha!" "Stupid human, do you think you can-Ugh?" Arlong was cut short from his speech as an electrocuted fist landed on his stomach, sending him flying and slamming into one of Arlong Park's walls.
"You talk too much," said Luffy while looking at Arlong, who managed to get out of the rubble. The villagers and Nami stared at Luffy with eyes the size of dinner plates.
"He took Arlong away with just one punch," said one villager.
"Extraordinary!" another said. Luffy ignored all the cheering villagers and focused on Arlong.
"It doesn't matter what species you are," Luffy said, getting Arlong's attention as he stood up. "Your powers are useless if you don't know the right way to use them." "I guess that's why you were never able to beat Jimbe," Luffy said with a smirk, which annoyed Arlong.
"Don't ever say that bastard's name!" Arlong screamed as he rushed towards Luffy. Luffy just stared as Arlong ran up to him and didn't move. Arlong then grabbed Luffy's head with one hand and the shoulder with the other before he opened his mouth to bite into Luffy's neck.
Everyone's eyes widened when they saw this; everyone except for Luffy's crew knew exactly what was going to happen. Arlong bit Luffy, expecting to taste some blood, but instead blood filled his mouth with electricity, which then exploded in his mouth, sending him flying backwards.
From Luffy's neck, which had obviously been bitten by Arlong, everyone saw that what should have been flesh and blood was actually lightning and electricity regenerating Luffy's neck. Arlong, who had stood up from his position on the ground, looked at Luffy.
"Did I forget to mention I ate a Logia-class Devil Fruit?" said Luffy with an innocent look on his face. "Oops," he said, angering Arlong even more.
"I'll show you why we fishermen are so much better!" Arlong said before jumping into the water. Luffy looked at the place where Arlong dove with a confused look on his face.
"Doesn't he remember that I can control electricity?" Luffy asked loudly before walking towards the edge of the pool and holding out both hands in front of him. "I think he's more stupid than I thought," said Luffy.
"Electro-murder!" Luffy shouted, causing electricity to shoot out of ten of his fingertips, and went into the water, electrocuting everything in it. After a few minutes, Luffy stopped using his skill and stared into the water, expecting Arlong's body to float to the surface.
He waited and waited for about five minutes, but nothing happened. Then suddenly Luffy saw a shadow in the water speeding towards him, and then, over the blink of an eye, the Arlong slid out of the water with his pointed nose aimed right at Luffy's heart. Luffy just sighed before he coated his palm in his armor haki and caught Arlong right in the nose, causing Arlong to be taken aback.
"So this is an unbreakable nose," said Luffy before he bent it down and broke it. Everyone present heard the sound of Arlong's nose breaking. It was loud enough to make some of them wince at the sound.
Luffy then threw Arlong at Arlong Park, causing him to crash into one of the windows on the second floor. Luffy then turned his body into lightning and teleported himself to where Arlong was. Luffy appears in a room filled with papers, books, and sea charts hanging to dry.
Luffy looked around the room and saw that there was a table in the corner of the room and Arlong lying bleeding on a pile of sea charts. When Arlong realized where he was lying, he immediately stood up and started trying to wipe the blood from the sea towel.
When he realized it was a waste, the map had already been destroyed. His head immediately turned to Luffy, who was looking around the room. When Luffy turned around and looked at Arlong, he noticed that Arlong's eyes turned like those of an angry sea king.
"You bastard!" Arlong shouted while holding the bloodstained map. "Look what you've done!" he said, pointing at the blood-stained map in the corner of the room. "I made Nami draw all these maps for the past eight years, and now you're destroying them!" Arlong screamed.
Luffy walked over to the desk in the room and picked up a pen that had an obvious bloodstain before he spoke.
"So this is Nami's room?" Luffy asked in a cold tone.
"Yeah, this is where I got him to draw all these sea charts," Arlong said. When he said that, Luffy took a step back before he kicked the table straight out the window, angering Arlong even more. "You bastard! "What are you doing!?" he shouted as he saw the pile of maps fly out of the room along with the table.
"You just pissed me off." "So no more games," said Luffy as he turned the pen over and coated the sharp end of the pen with haki before thrusting it into Arlong's neck, causing him to scream in agony before falling to his knees and clutching the side of his neck.
When he saw Luffy looking at him, it was the first time in Arlong's life that he felt so scared. Gazing at him were Luffy's cold eyes, devoid of emotion, looking like they were staring straight into Arlong's soul.
Luffy took a step back and placed his right hand on his straw hat, tilting it slightly before he spoke in a cold tone.
"Judgement," he said, confusing Arlong and scaring him at the same time. When Luffy said that, a pillar of lightning descended from the sky and engulfed the Arlong Park building and several parts further away.
The villagers and Luffy's crew were shocked when they saw a giant pillar of lightning descend from the sky and engulf the main building in Arlong Park. The villagers and crew ran backwards a few meters, not wanting to be hit by Luffy's attack.
Imagine Enel's attack that Nami saw for the first time on Skypea, but Luffy's lightning pillar is bigger and wider.
"LUFFY!" Usopp and Nami screamed in fear of something bad happening. The now awakened Zoro looked at the two of them and spoke.
"Calm down," Zoro said, getting their attention. "Luffy once told me that Lightning doesn't affect him at all. "So he'll be fine," Zoro said while looking at the lightning pillar.
The pillar was there for about a minute, preventing everyone from seeing what was going on. When the pillar disappeared, what they saw caused their eyes to nearly pop out.
The entire Arlong Park building was gone; all that was left was a pile of ashes with Luffy standing in the center while some ashes flew around him and lightning flashed behind him.
There was no Arlong, no Fishman, not even the bricks of the remaining buildings, all now reduced to ashes. Luffy then walked towards everyone and stopped beside Nami, with her back facing Arlong Park and his eyes looking straight ahead.
"You're my navigator. Understand?" Luffy asked, causing a teary-eyed Nami to nod her head, and then Luffy walked past her and everyone else, walking towards the village.
