Chương 125: Chapter 125: Something seems off

"You bitch! You will face your own fate!" Medivh, under the control of Sargeras, was in love with Garona, a half-human female orc, in an orcish way.

Medivh's fists rained down like drops of rain, which was nothing to Garona, who had been ostracized and tortured by other orc brethren since childhood due to her slave status.

"Male! Is your strength so weak besides your evil magic? I despise you."

Sargeras became even angrier.

On the other side, whether out of chivalry or gentlemanliness, Lothar felt obligated to stop all of this. He yelled, "Let her go!" and rushed up, only to be directly bounced back by an unknown spell from Medivh.

As for Duke... Duke was just standing around doing nothing.

Although he knew that this was another replay of 'history,' Duke still felt that his horizons had been expanded. But, damn, Maiev, do you even realize how amazing you are? Aren't you afraid that one day your child will sing to you, 'I call you dad, you hit my mom!'?

"You fool! Do you really think you can join the tiny human kingdom? Come on, face your fate!" Medivh's hands were surrounded by mysterious light, and countless ant-sized runes flowed on his palms, backhands, and arms.

The next second, a mysterious force shot into Garona's forehead.

It was an image that was terrifying to Garona. She saw the future, a future that she herself could not believe in.

That elegant and broad-minded person, who represented the entire human kingdom and accepted her, took her in and gave her a home, the Chief of the Stormwind Tribe, was killed by her own hands.

The image was so clear, the feeling so vivid, that Garona was completely stunned.

The expression on Llane's face, which he didn't believe until death, the look of horror on his son Varian's face, the painful expression of the queen who cared for her the most, all of it was right in front of Garona.

There was also the smell and touch of blood, and the horrible feeling of her own hand digging out Llane's heart. Everything was so vivid.

All these little details piled up, driving Garona into madness.

"This is impossible!?"

Garona suddenly shuddered and collapsed to the ground, her body twitching uncontrollably.

"You bastard, what did you do to her?" roared Lothar, charging towards the enemy.

"I only made her face her inevitable fate," Medivh said with a smirk and a grin.

"Die, Sargeras!" Lothar screamed as he charged.

Without a word, Duke followed, unleashing a barrage of arcane missiles from his 36 mage hands. But he knew it was useless.

These low-intensity arcane missiles might have been able to torture an orc or a murloc, but for Medivh, the being who stood at the apex of this world's mysterious power, they were nothing.

Duke could see that the massive number of arcane missiles had yet to approach within three meters of Medivh before being automatically dissipated by the high-concentration magic that emanated from his body.

But that wasn't what Duke was after.

He was playing the role of Khadgar. According to the "fate" of this world, if he could merge himself into the 80% compatibility, he might be able to replace Khadgar and successfully assassinate Medivh.

In "history," Medivh had dealt with Garona first, then toyed with Lothar with his sword. When he was playing fencing with Lothar, Khadgar, who would have still been using magic just a moment ago would have the chance to suddenly came up and stabbed him with his sword.

At first, Duke thought this was ridiculous. How could Medivh, who made even Sargeras wary, be so easily killed?

But when he thought about it, it made sense.

Think about it, a mage, no matter how powerful he is, when he doesn't use magic and goes to play melee combat, is he not seeking death in a vulnerable state with his back to potential enemies?

Moreover, at the moment Khadgar took action, the part of Medivh's soul that remained good also jumped out to fight for control of his body with Sargeras.

It would be strange if Sargeras didn't die.

Duke was reliving that piece of history.

"Hahaha! Tiny humans, you are so weak, I can even defeat you without using magic!" Medivh, just like in "history," pulled out a shiny silver sword from his spatial storage tool and faced Lothar.

Medivh's small stature was no better than Khadgar's, to put it plainly. If it was a simple sword duel, he would be easily defeated by Lothar in minutes.

Not to mention Sargeras possessing him, even if the souls of powerful fighters like Orgrim and Illidan rushed in, it would be of no use.

Sargeras' solution was simple - cheat. He directly cast a Slow spell on Lothar, reducing his speed and strength to slightly below his own level, and then began to play ping-pong with him, making it all lively.

Hahaha! So you're the first swordsman of the Kingdom of Stormwind? Your strength is nothing special!" I've seen shamelessness, but never seen it like this.

Lothar wanted to say "If you're so great, why don't you fight me without magic?" but he didn't say a word. He knew that Sargeras was toying with him. And Duke, with his low strength, couldn't possibly dispel such high-level magic.

Sargeras watching Duke constantly exerting himself to release those low-level trash spells, sneered at him. The great Sea King Duke, was splendidly ignored by Sargeras.

Duke still acted like a shadow actor, roaring while pouring out his own magic, releasing those useless attack spells.

Ice arrows, fireballs, arcane missiles, arcane impacts, almost all conventional magical attacks were used by Duke.

Everything was just a cover.

Watching Medivh's back, Duke sneered in his heart: Sargeras, you can be arrogant! Be arrogant! When I stick my sword in your back, and you realize that Medivh's weak mage body is your fatal weakness, I can't wait to see the horrified face of the Burning Legion's top boss.

Duke believed that he had done flawlessly. When he reached his limit and pulled out the [King's Guardian] to teach Sargeras a lesson.

It seemed that space was strangely misplaced. With a warm line appearing on his neck, Duke's head tilted, and in the next moment, he saw himself...

Himself without a head on his neck.

Himself with a big mouth spraying blood.

His vision spun and he felt the cold touch of the ground on his face. Medivh's boots entered Duke's sight.

Wait! Something's not right!

Am I dead!?

Sargeras's voice rang in Duke's ears.

"Fool, did you think I wasn't prepared for you? If it were my incompetent disciple Khadgar who doesn't know how to use a sword, I might overlook him, but you...I've been watching out for you all along! Hahaha! Ridiculous! Too ridiculous!"

Duke...was killed!
