Ji Lingxu's body was still unsteady from the slap she had just received. Her eyes widened slightly as she stared at Lin Ye, "You slapped me?" She was more shocked than angered but now that the shock had subsided, anger started filling up. 

She knew Lin Ye was docile and would never resort to something like this but now that the slap had landed on her face, she could still not believe her eyes. She screamed once more, "You dare slap me?"

Her screams attracted the other doctors and nurses who were still in the emergency bay. Before they could react, they heard another slap and this time it was even more menacing than the first one. 

Ji Lingxu downright fell from the second slap but before she could get up, Lin Ye squatted down and said through gritted teeth, "If Grandpa dies, I will come for you and I will make your death so painful that you would not know where to put that stupid shame of yours!"
