Chương 113: Can I spend the night?

Chen Xi had been a pampered prince ever since he was little but that night was the first time he ever enjoyed his meal to the fullest. 

The table had not been set extravagantly. A simple bowl of noodles was placed before him. He was disdainful of such things but when he had the first bite, he could not stop. 

Lin Ye sat in front of him the whole time smiling toothily at him. 

He realised that she liked to smile. She was always smiling whenever he saw her and looking at her made his mood elevated for reasons he was not aware of. 

The simple bowl of noodles settled peacefully in his stomach and he was secretly wishing for the night not to end. He was sure several people had been sent to look for him by now. It was way past midnight. 

He suddenly had an epiphany. He looked keenly at Lin Ye and asked a question that had been on his mind for a very long time, "Why do you like me so much?"
