Rows of bodyguards stood before a room where the masked man entered. This part of the ward was evacuated beforehand by them. Aside from Butler Han and the maids, no staff or patients could be spotted there.

Butler Han was furiously wandering around the corridor. They were arranging the second young master's room when those men in black suits walked in. The sheer numbers and the fact that they were armed forced them to withdraw into the corridor.

His initial reaction was to inform the master and madam, but he received a message from them that they entrusted everything to Edwin regarding Kaveh's affairs. He was baffled by the news. ' What could the young master do against these people?'

There was no way to help the young masters who were inside.

On the other side of the walls, Kaveh broke out in cold sweat when he saw the masked man arrive in his room. However, what was most disturbing was his friendly behaviour towards Edwin. 'What in the world! That did not happen in my previous life! '

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Dena asked Radin, surprised to find him there.

"I heard your brother woke up after a year of being in a coma, so I came to visit and congratulate you."Radin smiled while handing Edwin the presents.

"Wow, it hasn't been four hours since he regained consciousness, and you showed up this grand; word got out faster than lightning."

Noah said sarcastically.

His older brother usually does not appear in public places because of his condition.

Coming here meant he was serious about it this time. Noah got worried about that.

'That is terrible news for me.'

Radin paid no heed to Noah's words. His focus was all on his mate. 'God, I missed him. Look at him; he is fine and kicking while I was ill at ease separated from him.'

Dena looked at Noah and Radin and thought dealing with these two would surely give her a headache. She still didn't know how they connected, but the tension was so heavy that a knife couldn't get through. She sighed on her way to Kaveh's bed and placed the flowers and the fruit basket on the bedside table.

Radin glanced at the thin, amber-eyed, red-haired boy sitting on the bed. His facial feature was a little similar to Edwin's but more feminine. Radin peeked through him, and as he expected, he also had a wolf hidden inside. And like Edwin, there was one more unknown creature in him. 'This is hereditary. Both of them have two? Such an unusual family! '

Kaveh's body got frozen from Radin's stare. He was on pins and needles when Radin nodded at him as a greeting and turned towards Edwin.

"Do we still have a date tonight?"

Before Kaveh could sigh in relief, Radin's question stunned him. "Date??!!! Didn't you say Noah was your boyfriend?"

Kaveh pointed to Noah and asked Edwin with a loud voice.

Dena felt helpless. 'Did I dig my own grave by claiming Noah as my boyfriend? What if Noah's family or his boss chased me down? How about that woman in the suit? Kaveh, why are you a pig teammate and Say that in front of Radin, one of those high-ranking people associated with Noah?'

Dena put her hand on her forehead and rubbed it with frustration.

Noah was pretty angry with Kaveh, too. He knew this news would bring the rivalry with Radin to the fore.

The wolf in him went crazy on hearing the word boyfriend. His eyes turned a blazing gold while the black mask began to crack slowly. He released a sudden intimidating aura, which put intolerable pressure on Noah and Kaveh. Their breath became short and shallow while sweating profusely.

Noah even struggled to stand on both legs as his vision went blurry.

Meanwhile, Dena smelled a unique rich phenomenon like tobacco leather with a hot musky scent. She was under the influence of the fragrance and headed for the source. She was oblivious to the state of Noah and Kaveh. The eyes went from green to red.

Radin was a bit pleased to see Edwin willingly approach him. His excitement made his mask shatter abruptly, and his platinum blonde hair became visible.

Dena was mesmerised by Radin's appearance, which was 50 per cent similar to Noah's but sexier. Before she could enjoy this fantastic sight, an unbearable pain in her shoulder caused her breath to halt.

Radin bit him with all of his strength. He was angry at Edwin and Noah. 'His little brother with his mate?' He used all his power not to attack Noah and mark Edwin as his in front of the others. The wolf in him let off steam by biting Edwin's shoulder.

Noah finally could regain his sanity. He was horrified at the scene before his eyes. Radin's appearance bore an incredible resemblance to his. Until now, he had never seen him without the black mask. Given his facing angle, he could not see Edwin's eyes or the bite mark on his shoulder.

On the contrary, Kaveh witnessed everything. His soul was more potent than young Noah's and could withstand some pressures.

So when he saw the man open his mouth, he thought he would tear apart Edwin as he did to him in the past.

The possibility of losing Edwin once again was terrifying to him. His powerful soul tried to take over the body and fight Radin. Yet his poor body couldn't handle it; instead, he vomited blood. Kaveh clenched his fists. 'I should get my hands on that core before that psycho discovers it. I'm not going to stand by while Edwin dies.'

Radin picked up the boy in his embrace and turned away to leave the room. He would no longer be naive and create a situation where other people could approach Edwin. He wouldn't let him out of his sight.

Noah and Kaveh both were on high alert seeing Edwin being taken away. Strangely enough, Edwin hadn't put up much of a fight. His eyes were wide open but not focused, and his shirt was drenched in blood.

Noah caught his breath, surprised by the state of Edwin.

he said through clenched teeth.

Radin took one look at him. " If you weren't my brother, I would have killed you for touching my mate. He is mine, don't butt in my life."

His declaration shocked Noah and Kaveh. If what he said was true, splitting them up would hurt Edwin.

Radin exited the room with Edwin in his arms.
