Three knocks.
Mihael went in.
An odd familiar smell. Somewhat nostalgic.
The same smell of the day when he came to this world.
Derke gave him a glance before just sitting back down and saying nothing.
Mina let out a faint smile, resting in her bed.
The room was cleaned, and though dead, the baby was still kept for now in a small carriage next to the bed..
Mihael slowly crept onto the bed, lying next to her mother.
She was under a blanket. "I'm a little filthy right now, so don't-" Mina managed but she couldn't wring out the words without sobbing.
Voice, broken, eyes misty; she was hanging on.
Barely.
Mihael of course didn't listen, nor care. He hugged her.
He didn't cry.
He never did.
But he did hug her, he hugged her tight.
And she hugged him back.
Derke hovered over them, also hugging.
They were silent but-
But both Mina and Derke were crying.
