This is one of the rarest times that i bought privilege for a novel and i have not regret it. I just want to read more of it. Yes, The power system of the mages is not mentioned like the level of each mage and there are some elements of Harry Potter in the beginning and some of the things are not mentioned. But still it's addicting.I Hope author releases a lot more chapters a day :-)
There is a reason this is one of the most popular stories on WebNovel. It is really well written, and the world building is very well done. An intricate magical system that is meticulously well planned out creates a diverse yet immersive world that will suck you in every chapter and leave you bitter longing for more after you have caught up to the latest chapter. I highly recommend reading this story because you will not regret it.

Enjoy the novel a lot! I’m a bing reader so I’m waiting for at least a couple hundred more chapters before I start reading again :) my only downside is the update stability which makes it harder to continuously read
(MY POINT OF VIEW) Several aspects that I didn't like, such as, there is no progress without a corpse, he doesn't make an effort to kill the enemy that is trying to kill him to have the corpse himself, you don't get much of a sense of world building in relation to cities, kingdoms, etc., you only know about them when the MC is somehow related, then yes it is mentioned, it's just not my thing, but it was a good attempt. I forgot to mention that the unfolding is very slow.(chapter 156)
Started well and based upon the first 100-200 chapters, review would have been far superior. However, release of new chapters dropped substantially and story writing has become mundane; including very poor proofing and character development. Not sure what happened or when/where. But if you find your original spark I’ll definitely be back. ‘Til that time…’ciao. 😌
The story started off pretty interesting and unlike other extraction systems the MC didn’t get super OP way to fast. Unfortunately the extraction only works on corpses and he has to touch them..despite the fact that the system absorbs their soul and doesn’t actually take things from there body. BUT by far the most disappointing part of the story is the lack of a detailed power system. Everyone has these strands of energy that determines how long they can use their spells as well as how far away they can activate their spell. Unfortunately this means nothing as there are special spells and special physiques. It’s almost as annoying as the Harry Potter power system. It’s hard to tell the growth the the MC even with the system and its hard to tell how he measures up against other people because the power system isn’t ever broken down very well (at least not within the first 126 chapters. All in all I think it barely qualifies as junk food and other reviewers have said it doesn’t not gets worse the more you read. So I wouldn’t recommend.
Good novel, me likey. The world building with the different power systems was pretty good. A solid first 50 chapters really got me binging till chapter 375 in one shot. However, the writing style changed? at like around chapter 350 or smth. Either due to the use of weirdly phrase sentences or words that people don't normally use or the use of an ai writer. Cause ain't no way the protagonist felt a sense of responsibility for being the first to brew a potion as an example and many different bits that felt the same for a paragraph or so per chapter. So not really my cup of tea. Will continue reading when the feeling of reading AI like content fades in a day or so
The premise of the story is interesting. It was entertaining for the 1st 100 chapters. Then the overall quality of the story becomes bland and boring. Power scaling and fights can be confusing and full of inconsistencies. MC's personality is quite frustrating and INCONSISTENT as well. The lore is full of superlatives that it's unmemorable since information are not detailed. In fact, I don't even know what's his final goal here because it got too convoluted. Read up to 300 chapters but I'm gonna drop now. A story full of clichés may not be a bad thing IF the writing quality is excellent since it will keep readers hooked and entertained. Unfortunately, this does not meet my expectations. Still, I wish you good luck author!
Am on 308 so far and it’s really good so far I love how detailed it was with in the story am not sure how well developed it will be in later chapters but I love how it looks like right now
Interesting in the beginning, but the authors quality just declines, so many plot holes, MC personality is all over the place. The side characters and old 'strong' characters are honestly stupid. He gets betrayed by the academy? He's literally the strongest student in hundreds of years, completes the tower, is shown to be amazingly strong and yet they just throw him away and try to kill him? WHAT? They literally want strong students to help the dark faction and yet when they have one they don't prioritie him at all? Like he'd be the first thing you try and secure when the actions attacked, but he's just forgotten about and even is attacked by that same faction. Im so confused about that entire situation. What a stupid and badly written arc, i've never seen a story fall down in quality so much so fast.

Hello everybody! The beginning was pretty good, but it started falling off hard after like chapter 300, first off the author couldn’t decide on powersystem at all, secondly it was pretty obvious that some parts of chapter were written by ai which is awful to read, thirdly it really seemed to me that author just doesn’t know what his doing, the plot became worse then chinese cliche novels. I dropped it at around chapter 600 since I really couldn’t read it anymore, it was just unbearable. I do not recommend reading this novel, this is just waste of time and I deeply regret spending my time reading this. Author, please take note and do not use ai anymore, it’s awful to read.

i dropped this novel after mc and the tower spirit escaped. bcs of free trial i thought to give it another try but still this is disappointment . story loose with full of plot holes and stupidest mc any author could create . I don't understand how after getting this much feedback from many readers, the author still refused to develop the character of mc.

He's not at all appealing and turns out to be just a regular guy with a frighteningly powerful "golden finger." He lacks extraordinary qualities and proves to be mediocre in all aspects. You'll notice it right away. The secondary characters are essentially poorly written and serve primarily as a decoy. World Background: The strong point of this work. There isn't much that's original, but the inventiveness behind it is truly fantastic. It's also why you'll likely find many comments describing this work as having potential.

the mc is unbearable he has no backbone at all. He is the type of person who is almost killed by another person and suffers permanent damage and instead of getting angry he is understanding of the person who simply attacked him and he doesn't even want revenge when he later finds out that the other person did wanted to kill him, but couldn't do it because of incompetence.

This story really kind of took me by surprise. To be honest I started it on a whim based on a suggestion and it turned out to be quite the ride so far! There is a proper amount of character and world building done before things start accelerating, which I appreciate. But even with that it’s never painful. There’s always something going on, always something being worked on. Always some mystery being solved. I say give it a fair chance if you enjoy tales about magic, fantasy, and seeing the darker side of human nature on display.
I hate in this novel is about character development , it's the worst I have ever read. author changes names of mc every now and then and if someone come to read after some break won't know who is mc . As int point grew mc brain shrink to point of ant's brain . Don't waste your time here.
Finally. Something I can enjoy. Amazing story so far, I've read it from beginning to where it is currently. I can't wait to see what is next to come. It would be amazing to see other arts of characters. Keep up the good work! You'll be getting my Golden Tickets and Power Stones for the foreseeable future!
Easily the best magic system and original world I have read about. This book is unique, original, and top quality. Don’t hesitate and give it a try because if you don’t you’re missing out! Don’t let the system tag discourage you! It’s very naturally integrated into the story and not some random golden finger that pops up for no reason.
The hero of the novel is literally trash. He ruined the entire story. I don't know how I found comments saying it was good. It's literally trash.

In MY opinion, this novel is going really well… there is a few mistakes that the author did, but nothing that would compromise the history line. I really liked the characters and the world in general, I just think that vale/kyle should deal with his indecision. He’s too afraid of his action and this makes him a little inconstant in my opinion. Overall I hope to see more of him constructing his personality (hope that he becomes more ruthless). Congratulations to the author, I’ll be joining this journey until the end!
This review is current up to chapter 200. I will also do my best to not spoil anything but only provide hints. I want to start with the negative. Thus far, the only problem I have with this story is the MC is a bit too lax. The MC joins a new school who do some…questionable things for recruitment. After something quite traumatic, he is essentially perfectly okay with being someone’s experiment. I don’t have a problem with how it played out as it played out well, but I wish the MC was more hesitant, questioning, and that more inner monologue was shown after he was recruited to the school to show more depth to how he was feeling and justify a bit more why he agreed to do some of the things he did. Now for the positive, I love how the world is being built. We are 200 chapters in and the setting for the world has been established but there is still a huge amount of mystery surrounding everything. The school the MC is attending also actually has some depth to it and doesnt feel just randomly thrown together. As for the MC himself, he isnt necessarily a pushover but he won’t seek out trouble either. As stated before, he is a bit too “go with the flow” but he does have a bit of decisive ruthlessness in him. The side characters have some personality to them but they haven’t been explored in extreme depth as of yet. Finally, for those wondering about romance, there’s nothing yet. There are a couple of potential partners but nothing concrete. One of my own pet peeves is I despise when romance is forced into a story through some unfathomable coincidense and it just magically works out. So far, there’s signs there are going to be romance but it doesn’t appear as if it’s just going to be thrown into the story randomly, which is a huge plus point in my book. Overall, I highly recommend it. It’s been a fun story so far.
