"We can now leave."
After those words drifted into Divine's ears, his gaze shifted from the unconscious taxi driver to Corey.
Despite hearing Corey's words, his mind was still on what Corey had just done to the taxi driver.
To him, Corey only knocked out the taxi driver using a strange method, and then he allowed a black centipede to enter the head of the taxi driver.
Although it seemed like the black centipede was Corey's way of knowing the location of the Assassins' headquarters, he didn't know why, but he just had a subconscious feeling that the centipede was not all that Corey did.
Knowing he was not going to get any answers just by thinking so much on it, he could not help but ask.
"Was that the centipede your method of knowing the location of the Assassins' headquarters?"
Corey glanced at Divine. A thoughtful expression appeared on his face as he wondered if he should expose an ability of his to Divine.
I'll really appreciate it if any of you notice a plot hole or an irregularity in the story from here on.
Although I've re-read it, I might have missed some things, and like I said, I've forgotten some things about the book.
Also, I'll appreciate it if you check out my second book: "Against The Devil". You guys might just enjoy it and be intrigued by it also.
