Chương 17: Round two of the competition final part
His plan had backfired, and now he was the laughingstock of the competition. He could feel his face turning red with embarrassment, and he wished he could disappear into the ground. He glanced at Leo, who was grinning triumphantly, and Alexander knew that he had to come up with a new strategy fast.

Alexander said with frustration " I can't believe that my gun didn't work in the competition. Everyone laughed at me, even the king himself"
Alex replied teasingly [ Well, I guess your gun wasn't as powerful as you thought. Maybe you should have brought a slingshot instead.] and then added:
[￢o(￣-￣) (holding a gun) I can give you mine if you want]
Alexander who was very annoyed said "Very funny, Alex. You're not helping."
Alex chuckling [ (b ᵔ▽ᵔ)b (laughing) Oh, come on, don't be such a sore loser. Maybe you just need to work on your aim]
Alexander responded sarcastically "Thanks for the advice, captain obvious. I'll be sure to remember that for next time. "
Alex added [ ( ´ ▽ ` )(laughing) Hey, at least you still have your normal body, right? I'm sure that'll come in handy in this magical competition.]
Alexander said while rolling his eyes" Yeah, hilarious. Just keep rubbing it in, why don't you?"
Alex added in a grinning tone [Hey, I'm just trying to lighten the mood. Don't take it so seriously.]
Alexander said sighing" I know, I know. It's just frustrating when things don't go as planned. SH*T, I can't believe that didn't work. What am I going to do now?"
Alex replied, [Well, Alexander, it looks like you'll have to rely on your own abilities to win this competition.]
Alexander groaned, "That's easy for you to say. You don't have to face Leo and his team with nothing but my bare hands."
Alex quipped, [Oh, I'm sorry, Alexander. I didn't realize that you were such a big fan of hand-to-hand combat. Maybe you can use your impressive muscle mass to intimidate your opponents into submission like this:
(=O*_*)=O Q(*_*Q) (fighting) ]
Alexander scowled at the AI, "Thanks for the encouragement, Alex. I can always count on you to make me feel better."
Alex chuckled, [Hey, someone's got to keep you humble, Alexander. Otherwise, you might get too big for your britches and forget that you're not invincible.]
Alexander rolled his eyes," I'll try to keep that in mind, Alex. But I really wish I had something better than my bare hands to fight with."
Alex replied, [Well, you could always try to improvise, Alexander. Use your surroundings to your advantage. Be creative. Think outside the box.]
Alexander nodded, "Yeah, that's a good idea. I'll have to be quick on my feet and adapt to whatever situation arises."
Alex quipped, [ Or you could just stand there and flex your biceps. Maybe that will scare them off.]
Alexander was deep in thought, determined to find a way to make it to the next round and claim the coveted prize of winning the competition. Despite the AI's mocking comments, he was confident that he could come out on top with the right strategy. As he racked his brain, an idea suddenly struck him. He remembered a gadget he had brought with him, one that could give him an edge in the upcoming match. It was a set of five freezing bombs, each one capable of immobilizing an opponent for several seconds. Alexander smiled to himself, feeling a renewed sense of confidence. With these bombs at his disposal, he knew he could turn the tables on his opponents and secure his spot in the next round.
Alexander quickly took out one of the freezing bombs from his pocket and tossed it towards the opponents who were closing in on the elf. The bomb exploded, creating a thick fog of ice and frost that momentarily blinded and stunned the opposing team. Alexander took advantage of the moment and quickly rushed to the elf's aid, pulling her out of harm's way.
Just as they were catching their breath, they were once again ambushed by Leo, who charged towards them with great force. Alexander knew that he had to act fast. He pulled out another freezing bomb and aimed it towards Leo, who was almost upon them. With great accuracy, Alexander threw the bomb at Leo's feet, and it exploded, covering him with a thick layer of ice.
Leo struggled to break free from the ice, but it was too strong for him to break through. The other members of Leo's team were momentarily stunned by the sudden turn of events, and Alexander took advantage of this moment to launch an attack. He quickly pulled out his electric gun and shot at the opponents, hitting them with a stunning jolt of electricity. The opponents were unable to recover from the attack, and they were quickly defeated by Alexander and his team.
The audience erupted in cheers as Alexander and his team emerged victorious from the battle . Alexander felt proud of himself and his team, knowing that their hard work and quick thinking had paid off.
As Alexander reflected on the earlier encounter with Leo, he realized that the electric gun he had tried to use on him was actually a low-distance weapon. It was a fact that he hadn't been aware of, and he felt frustrated that Alex hadn't mentioned it earlier. However, as he remembered what Alex had told him, he suddenly felt a surge of joy. If the electric gun was indeed a low-distance weapon, it meant that it could still be effective against others, as long as he could get close enough to them.
With renewed hope, Alexander decided to focus on using his freezing bombs to his advantage in the upcoming round.
Alexander watched the remaining teams with keen interest, taking note of their strategies and their strengths and weaknesses. He consulted with Alex, asking the AI for suggestions and insights. With Alex's help, Alexander was able to gain valuable knowledge that he hoped would be useful in the upcoming matches.
As the second round came to an end, the king congratulated the 20 participants who had passed and announced that the next round would be the following day. Alexander felt a mix of excitement and anxiety as he prepared for the next challenge. He knew that the competition would only get tougher from here on out and that he would need to give it his all if he wanted to win.
