The flaming sword between us dipped ever so slowly toward our table as I absently let my mind wander whilst looking at it. A tentative silence enveloped the two of us as we thought about this asinine topic; Flare herself having put the end of her pen to her lips as she stared blankly at her clipboard. I raised an eyebrow at Flare's suggestion. I couldn't even remember ever reading about that stuff. "What do you mean?"

"Identical twins having two different Wesen types from each other would mean a shift or mutation in either of their genes post-division," she postulated, her pen not moving away from her lower lip as she spoke. "Perhaps the ability to manipulate Wesen only occurs once the human gene mutates to accommodate for it. It would certainly explain why the expression of potential doesn't occur until pre-adolescence at the least..."
