The concept of deal-making was always a fascination of mine; the art of getting a one-up on your proverbial opponent always bringing a surge of satisfaction to my constantly broke self. Having watched countless anime about outsmarting one's opponent through sheer skill, perception, and wit, I had tried transforming myself into a logical monster; one capable of outsmarting or out-dealing my opponent through sheer perception.

Or at least, I tried. In the end, I was still a plain old guy with nothing but his wits and quick thinking to carry me forward. I was an amazing critic though depending on how much effort I wanted to exert. I could spot a plot hole a mile away if I was looking for it, and surprisingly, I was a decent enough editor that I got contracted by a friend to edit their group thesis.
