Chương 3: In the captivity
Frank called her and asked about her. She told him that she was Jasmine, and she worked in Seven Marble office, but her purse was stolen, and she was in needed to go home. Frank, being kind-hearted, gave her the money he had and preferred to walk on the foot. Frank was guessing to tell her about Lucy that she was exactly like her, but ensured himself to go to Jacky, Nicholas lonely.
"If you have any trouble, call me. First, I have to meet my parents and as soon as you find Mr., Guangzhou notifies me. Thank you kindly for helping me. Goodbye. That girl left for her home.
Frank lee was shocked that she was Lucy, and she left him alone. Why did she so he though, but then he realized might be Lucy was taking his exam, so he let it go and left to the residence of Jacky Nicholas. He knew Lucy was a mere help and as he had got his new way she thought he had better search for his uncle at his own risk. He was a bit afraid of any hardship that ensues for Mr. Guangzhou. He had the address of Jacky Nicholas and soon reached there. Likewise, he had a photo of the shop. Furthermore, he thought to ask about it, but Lucas Milo had warned him not to ask as it was in privacy. Not only that, but he saw a narrow lane who's both sides were ruins of the houses, the lane was very long, and it took him ten minutes to cross it. Likewise, he halted and nothing was there, it disturbed him, and he again glanced at the photo, the moment he glanced at it, the wall slides and he saw a square-shaped hole. Furthermore, he entered it and the darkness frightened him. As he advanced, somebody called him to stop.
"Show your palm of both hands."
Frank was afraid and confused.
"Never try to come ahead, until you do what I tell you."
The goblet lit and Frank almost became unconscious when he looked at the hanging skeleton of several people under which the crocodiles were wafting and sometimes lifted their heads and showed their sharp teeth.
"Please forgive me, I do as you order," Frank said, taking a long breath and showing him the palm.
"Now come and climb the stair. "
Frank arrived in the room filled with antique things like a museum, and he met an octogenarian who wore a jet black cloak and a jet black hat. His height was almost, ten feet, but he was slim.
"Sit down." Anyway, He said.
"Are you Jacky, Nicholas? Mr. Lucas Milo asked me to meet you and—
"And attain an imperceptible looking hat, am I right?"
"Yes, sir ".
"Is it susceptible stuff like preparing coffee? "Jacky said and sat on an invisible chair, which sounded incredible to Frank. Then the chair became apparent.
Don't be so spooked and surprised, I chatter like this."
"May I ask you, are you, Jacky Nicholas?" Frank said with a low tone and swallowed as the man was looking very stern. The man stopped for a few seconds and then said, "Show me the photograph".
Frank handed him the photograph and that man lit it with fire, which Frank felt very weird. But the photograph turned into a living one. When the man put it on the table, Frank saw that the event that occurred recently was running like a T.V.
"Welcome here I am Jacky Nicholas and without wasting your time, I tell you that the invisible making hat will work only after midnight and for half an hour. If you confirm you will bring it here inaccurate time, then I can hand over it to you ".
"Can I see it?"
"Don't ask questions, take it." Jacky Nicholas gave him the hat. How he brought it in a matter of seconds was incredible, as hundreds of hats were still put on the rack.
"Now you can go." Jacky Nicholas said and snapped his finger in consequence he disappeared and Frank was on a busy road with the hat in his hand. He shook his head to get rid of such confusion and also from the queer behavior of Jacky Nicholas. Frank never assumed he would meet such people in real and Lucy would be proved as an angel. He planned to thank her after meeting his uncle. For a while, a question revolved in his mind why Lucy did it tell him the truth, was she hiding something else or was she scared. Frank had the hat and left for the rented house Lucy had offered him to stay for some days.
Frank lee found that he had some money in his purse, he was amazed and decided to go home by the cab.For a moment, he checked and fumbled with his hat, and the driver once noticed and was stunned to see such an outstanding hat. He was driving and occasionally he looked at it from the upper mirror.
"That's a very amazing hat." The driver said.
"Thanks, I bought it for my niece," Frank said
Unwillingly.
"May I know where did you got it? Even, I want for my daughter."
"From my uncle, he has some picturesque items and yes, he never offers other his item. So sorry you can't find others."
"If you don't mind, will you give it to me?" I need it for my daughter. She will be very pleased, and these days she is ill."
"I understand, but it's valuable to me, but if you urge I will give you another like it tomorrow, in the place where you picked me."
"Alright, I will wait for you tomorrow."
Frank was a bit afraid that the hat was not pocketable and suspected if he lost it, he will lament so much. After a few minutes, he got out of the car and went fast to his house. The photographs kept on the table saddened him and loneliness began to haunt him, he got himself refreshed and made a cup of coffee. Once he noticed the shape of the hat, though it was like an opposite triangle, there were three cuts in an oval shape. One at the top, one in the middle, and one at the bottom. The top one had something like hair or fur. He touched it, and he felt slightly as if the hat moved a bit behind. When he did once more, the hat turned into a rabbit.
"Are you out of mind? Don't you see I was gnawing a carrot?" The rabbit said.
"Oh my goodness, you can talk! " Frank was shocked.
"Do you think I am dumb? Who are you?"
"Sir I am deeply sorry to have disturbed you, but early you wear a hat and the hat became you." Frank stood up and moved behind as the rabbit shook its whole body and was in a red suit.
"That's fair I know what you need, but you should have patience, it was my mealtime and I lost it. Anyway, as you have seen my real form being so lucky, I assure you I shall help you to let your uncle get rid of the problem and those wicked mosquitoes."
"So you call their name, it's hilarious."
"Your uncle is inside a filthy, isolated cell filled with annoying mosquitoes. I mean it, not those bullies, they are a fox in the body of a lion."
"They assume themselves as the invincible and why not they are fully supported by the high officials."
"Of course, it's because of corruption. " Rabbit said and took out a half-gnawed carrot and swallows it in a single step.
"So how you will help me ?" Frank asked.
"I won't do the hat will and rest you know what Lucas Milo said to you."
"You will constantly remain a hat. "
"As long as you don't tickle me."
"I assure you I won't at all.".
"And also remember never put off the hat, or you will be punished by them. Now listen, get ready for midnight and use the hat. I shall tell you where to go and what to do. To go outside, use your vehicle."
"Alright, I understood."
"Goodbye," The rabbit said and turned into a hat again.
Frank did his work at night without the hassle and with good confidence, once since he had the incredible ability of the magic he was to use ahead. The middle night occurred and Frank put on the hat. He looked into the mirror, but he was invisible there too. "The mirror can't show my body too, it's unbelievable."
"Don't be so glad I warn you if you move your body in front of it, your body will be seen, and also I will be hurt, so put it in mind, now go."
As he locked his door, being invisible, someone standing ten feet behind glanced at it and become senseless, lying on the ground with a thud.
"Don't make haste, let him lie there and don't make any slight mistakes ahead, be careful. " The rabbit said.
When Frank was using his bicycle, he stopped. The rabbit asked why he did so. Frank said what about his bicycle, will it be invisible too? The rabbit answers that's why he said to come out at midnight and don't care for others. Frank used his bicycle and rode fast. The rabbit said if there comes the lamppost, ride slower, and he will put the light off. Frank went ahead, and the rabbit told him how and where to ride. Although a few people noticed the bicycle, Frank didn't mind as they were roadside wretched people, even drunken.
"Do you know your enemies are not so incapable, they also know the wicked wizard, "Darius" who abides in the loom berg castle? If they know you fought with them, Darius will try his best to raid you and I can't help you at that time, " Rabbit said.
"Darius those hooligans connect with a wizard! I knew it, somebody had notified me. Anyway , I can't accept defeat, let anything happen. My will is strong." Frank said, and stopped next to a grand castle.
"Now slowly go ahead and be careful of the mirror or glasses, run fast when you see it. " The rabbit said.
Frank entered the gate and reached near a big hall. He went ahead and stopped being confused the hall was round.
"Don't fear, look at that door and open it. " The rabbit said.
"Open the door! It's very dangerous lest they notice it," Frank said confused.
"Wait for a few minutes and when there is no one, open the door at once"
Frank opened the door and saw there was no one. He saw a shelf filled with dozens of keys. The room was very stinky, seemed as if someone had spat a lot
Or vomited.
"I can't bear such a foul smell, now tell me at once what to do?" Frank said with a grimace.
"Go and pick up the third key and then go out."
Frank picked up the key and put it in his pocket. He tried to close the door but stopped as he heard some men coming.
"Now run from here as soon as you can."
Frank Lee ran away and stood near the stairs.
"And what next ?" Frank said gasping.
"Go ahead right straight to this place, you will find an isolated room. And there your uncle is held captive."
Frank went ahead and also saw some tall and sturdy guards wearing a black cloth and holding modern arms. After a while, he saw his uncle lying on a stone-made bed in an isolated room. He was a bit happy as well as a bit shocked. His feelings made him break the rules, and he advanced to meet him openly. But the rabbit scolded him and ordered him to take easy and go to Mr. Guangzhou with ease. Furthermore, he said that a mere carelessness would lead him to suffer for his whole life.
Frank Lee was in extreme anger as well as in sadness. He wanted to let his uncle get rid of that place and meet him.
Frank was in a very depressing mood, he was unable to control himself and tears trickled from his eyes. As he went a bit ahead, the hat (rabbit) advised him not to lose control, or he will be sorry for a big mistake. Frank understood, he waited for a perfect time and when the guards were not there. He asked the rabbit how he would talk to Mr. Guangzhou.
"Does Guangzhou know I am here? "
"Write something on the paper first, and I shall make him wake up." The rabbit advised.
Frank wrote, "Uncle, I am Frank. Don't be shocked, I am invisible to all, it's all by magic. Talk to me with care."
Mr. Guangzhou felt something crawling on his leg and woke up, just then he clasped a paper in his hand. He also looked to and fro and read what Frank wrote.
He nodded and sat straight, and then he also wrote something on the paper to be confirmed. Frank wrote, "I am here. How is your health?"
"I am not feeling well, I have been starving for three days, but how you became invisible."
"An old wizard helped me and I wore a hat, it has the life. I talk to it."
As they chatted, a guard came and used his torch to see what Mr. Guangzhou was doing.
"Don't panic, I am just feeling weak, will you give me some water."? Mr. Guangzhou said, he had hidden the paper inside his sleeve.
"Alright, I will give you I have a bit of care for you, but please don't say it to anyone." The guard said and fumbled the jar which the guard used to quench their thirst, not for any captive.
"Wait, I am coming. " The guard said and quickly went from there.
"They are so cruel, uncle now I want to help you to get rid of here. I can unlock the door. Please do what I tell you." Frank said, rushing.
"Wait for tomorrow I shall tell that guard he will help me go and If I go out all the guards will shoot me. "
"Still, if we do with the care we can succeed."
"You don't understand it's not easy. Don't be impatient. Wait for tomorrow."
"You can't trust upon that man. He is the servant of Tony Lee." Frank said, and then the guard came, he unlocked and gave Mr. Guangzhou a glass of water. Mr. Guangzhou gulped in a single stroke and when he looked to that guard to thank him. He saw that two other guards held the gun near his ear.
"You have broken the rules now you have to meet
the boss."
"Don't be so unkind, what's any mistake if I give him water? He needed it."
"Take him to Mr. Tony, he will decide what to do to him," Shaun said. (The head guard)
"And what about this man, should we kill him?"
Another guard said and held the gun
"Do anything to him, I asked Tony, he said he had no right to live. And when I come back, bring Katherine here. She has to suffer before she loses her life." Shaun said.
When that guard pressed the trigger to shoot Mr. Guangzhou, Frank lost his temper and kicked him. As a result, the hat fell on the ground and Frank was visible to all. They gripped him and took hold of the hat. Mr. Guangzhou fought with them and told Frank to go out very soon. Frank was reluctant, but Guangzhou gave him the oath and when Frank was gone, until then, Tony Lee came and shot Guangzhou in his head. He died at once.
"You all are very lazy, I want that boy very soon, or I will kill you too." Tony Lee said to Shaun and caught the hat on his head. He also put on it and with piercing pain, he had to throw it.
"How did you get it?"
"That boy was wearing it, and he was invisible (Samoa said, The guard who gave Guangzhou the water).
"Don't talk rubbish, and why are you handcuffed?"
Tony said with wrath.
"He gave Guangzhou water without my order. He was deceiving us." Shaun said.
"What's wrong he was doing good why he should be handcuffed oh let his hand be opened," Tony said with a smile and wiped his forehead with tissue paper.
Shaun opened his hand and Samoa felt sorry and promised he would not do it again.
"I understand why you feel so sorry, ok, I pardon you. You can still live and do a job under me. Except for your hand, it has to be punished. Hold his both hands straight."
Two guards forcefully brought both hands ahead. Samoa understood Tony would do something hurtful, and he took out a sword and at once smote his both hands, the blood drop spread on his face. The surrounding filled with big screams and Samoa became unconscious, he fell to the ground.
"Take him to the surgeon, and he should be cured, he got what his fate needed," Tony said, wiping the sword and putting it back in the sheath.
Frank Lee had no other alternative than flee away, he was reluctant and wanted to go with his Guangzhou, but he also fled away and told him his time was up, and other remaining work must be done by Frank. The situation was like one side well and one side trench. Being harassed and confused, Frank went far away and was lost in the corridor, he was disturbed as the way was like a maze. It took him ten minutes to run, but the outer way was not seen at
all. It was not enough when he reluctantly chose a door, he saw a big dog that was tied with a gigantic chain. Its barking sound was two times stronger than a lion's. Frank almost had a heart attack. If he had advanced a bit more, he could have been eaten at once. He went out and closed the door in no time. Still, my heart was thumping fast. Without any further thought, he ran straight and after a few minutes, he finally found the large gate. As he was a bit expert in gymnastics, he climbed and went out of the mansion of Tony Lee. Now it was very hard for him to forget his uncle. He might be murdered brutally and no one was there to help him, he was all alone. He sat on a platform near a road and cried loudly. Not only that, but he had a very depressing mood and after a while, he went home.
