"There is a problem. He is asking a lot of question about his cook. He want to visit her at the hospital. I told you he care for his employees too much. What should I do?"  Timothy asked him.

"Hmm, Where are you now?" The voice asked.

"At the ranch." Timothy replied.

"Can we meet?" The voice asked.

"I don't know. The security over here is a lot and I don't want him to suspect a thing. I need to be careful of my moves." Timothy replied.

"I understand. But we need to meet. At the corn fields in a three hours time." He said.

At the mention of the corn field, faith stared at Timothy in shock. She remembered over hearing him talk about the corn field tactics with someone on phone and now hearing the name again, she immediately knew that Simon was being set up. Timothy paused looking up at Simon who nodded his head to show his approval. "Okay." He replied "But ensure you keep to time. It's three hours or nothing." Timothy said and Bruce hung up immediately.

Simon looked at Timothy as he ventured into deep thoughts. He looked at Bruce and the later reciprocated. He gave Bruce a questioning look that was indirectly asking him if he believed the little show Timothy just put up and Bruce shaked his head telling him that he didn't. Faith and Timothy watched them in silence with Timothy praying that they take the bait and faith contemplating if this was the best time to speak up and let Simon know that Timothy was setting them up for a kill. She watched as Simon went into silence standing still with his legs slightly parted. She turned to Barnabas but he had his eyes shut tightly still seated on the floor. This could be her only opportunity at staying alive. She thought to herself.

"Is the cook still alive?" She heard Simon ask Timothy.

"Yes." Timothy replied hurriedly. A side look from Simon at his guard got Timothy wailing in pain from more punches.

"Is my cook still alive T.i.m.o.t.h.y." Simon asked this time extremely angry.

Timothy looked up at his boss and fear gripped him. He knew instantly that his end was so near. "No, no." He replied groaning. "They killed her. But it wasn't me boss. They just told me that they will take care of her. They never said kill. They just said they will take care of her." Timothy said amidst sobs. " I am so sorry." He said folding up his abdomen in pain. The cuts from his jaw and cheeks oozing out tiny flow of bloood.

"Which of the corn fields are we going to?" Simon asked.

"The one close to the boarder." Tim replied coughing out blood.

"It's a set up sir." Faith blurted out quickly and everybody turned their gaze towards her including Barnabas who had his eyes shut all the while.

"What did you just say?" Simon asked faith not a bit surprised with the information as he and Bruce already had their suspicion.

"The corn field, it's a setup. If you go, you might end up dead." She said boldly looking straight at Simon.

"That's a lie. Faith! How can you lie against me? What did I do to ever wrong you?" Timothy groaned in pain.

"Please stop pretending Tim, we both know that you're trying to set him up. Whichever way this goes, you get paid won't you?" She asked suddenly firm and bold with her words.

"And you know that this is a set-up how?" Simon asked faith.

"I.. I once overheard him talking about it on phone with someone." She said. "He is a liar. He's planning to kill you. Don't go to the Fields." She said hoping to redeem herself.

"Oh no....." Timothy wept in pain. "No......."  He cried.

"Timothy." Simon called looking at him. "Is that true?" He asked pointing a gun at him. "Is that fucking true Timothy?"

"I'm so sorry..... They threatened to kill me. They said they'd come for me and everyone I love if I don't comply." He replied.

"It's a yes or no answer Tim." Simon said. "Is she saying the truth?" He asked again.

Timothy wailed in whispers. He knew there was no way he could get out of this. He looked at Faith who looked back at him. "Why?" He whispered.

"Shut the fuck up and answer me Timothy. Is she saying the truth? Ahhh....!" Simon yelled.

"Yes," Timothy sobbed. "Yes boss." I'm sor....."  Timothy couldn't finish his sentence as he got hit with a bullet straight to his forehead. This was followed by total quietness. The reality hit Barnabas and faith. Both looked at each other terrified. Simon turned to Barnabas. "Your turn." He said with a straight face. "You choose money over your own life. So, I'm here to grant your wishes."

"Oh no Boss." Barnabas wailed. "They threatened to kill me sir just like they killed Anastasia. They promised to kill me if I talk and if I don't accept their offer.  I was helpless, I didn't know what to do." He explained.

"You weren't helpless Barnabas, you had me. I was here all along. You should have confided in me. You we really nre meant to save Anastasia. She died because of your greed. You should have protected her you buffoon. She died being loyal to me. If only you reached out to me, we could have saved her." Simon said regrettably. "Now you sit there pleading for your life when you contributed t6jo someone else's death. Are you nuts?" He asked angrily.

"No sir."  Barnabas replied. "Please spare my life."

"I can't." Simon told him right before pulling the trigger. Barnabas lay lifeless in a pool of his own blood. Faith suddenly started murmuring prayers as she wept uncontrollably. Her nose ran freely, so did the tears and the sweat. She started murmuring and pleading that they spare her life. Simon pointed the gun at her without flinching. He closed his eyes a bit and thought of what the girl was actually up to and how she could have succeeded in killing him if he didn't suspect something was off.

If he didn't suspect a thing, he could have been eating his way to his death by now and this thought alone hardened this heart. He opened his eyes slowly and looked at Faith. She was just a child and If her sister was the reason she decided to join Timothy then maybe he could help with the sister's surgery. He thought to himself. But not without teaching her a very tough lesson. All his life,  he has always known that human life was nobody's to take. But first, he will need to confirm that she truly have a sick sister. The confirmation will determine his next step of action. So in order not to regret any of his actions this evening, he decided to put Faith away while they try to locate her sick sister and devise a means to help her. "Take her away."he told the other guard. "Lock her up in the cell. I will get back to her case when I'm done with what I'm going." He said out loud.

Faith was immediately pulled up to a standing position and off the went to the cell. "Thank you so much." Faith cried as she was led away. "Thank you for sparing my life for now." She cried as she was moved out of the sitting room.

Left in the room with just just Bruce, Simon turned to him with a straight face. " You'll need to clear out the sitting room. I need it sparking clean before aunt Bridget gets here. She will be in Oceanview soon and she'll need to take the next available flight to Galvile. So I need this place to be extremely neat with no smell of blood at all." Simon explained.

"I got this Boss." Bruce reassured him. "You should go freshen up. I'll keep the whole place in order. You have nothing to worry about." Be reassured Simon who nodded.

"I'll be in my room. If you need anything or something requires my attention, do not hesitate to call me at once." He stressed.

"Definitely Boss." Bruce replied. Simon left for his room to have a shower and a possible change of clothes as it was almost time for his virtual session with Chadwick.
