"She didn't have anything with her to prove that she wasn't the one so it wasn't our fault" Jack said still trying to argue with her.
"If you don't bring her back this instant then expect to get half payment from me" Esther said as she hung up angrily.
"They will never make it back here in time so I can only count on the other guy to display those files on the projector to stop this goddamn wedding" Esther said determined not wanting to accept defeat.
Meanwhile Mrs. Esther wasn't aware that the flash she gave to the guy was corrupted with a virus and everything on the flash got erased and since the guy couldn't figure out what went wrong, he decided to display the original flash on the projector.
Fyneface looked at Felicia as she walked in with her father slowly towards him. He admires how beautiful she was and how mesmerizing it takes his breath away.
"I've never felt this powerful lust for anyone before but why is Felicia so different? Fyneface wondered inwardly until they finally got to where he was then her father handed her over to him and left then the both of them turned to face the priest and Fyneface smiled as she discreetly removed her hands from his.
"She's never going to change, Feisty kitten" Fyneface muttered smiling. As the priest went on with his sermon, the time seemed agonizingly slow and Fyneface felt bored and when he glanced at Felicia he sensed that she was also bored although he couldn't see her face which was covered completely with the pink veil untill the priest Finally asked them to exchange their rings.
“Do you Felicia Badmus take Fyneface Ken to be your lawfully wedded husband?”
“Yes, I do” Felicia answered without wasting time
“Do you Fyneface Ken take Felicia Badmus to be your lawfully wedded bride.” The priest asked
“Yes, I do” Fyneface answered happily
“You may now kiss the bride” The priest said and Fyneface seemed excited because that was the part he has been waiting for.
He opened her veil, looked into her eyes and then crashed his lips on hers and the crowd cheered loudly as they threw flower petals on them but Fyneface didn't care about it right now because his only focus was on Felicia so he deepened the kiss.
Her lips were so soft and it tasted like a special kind of flavor he's never tasted before and the taste wad so addictive.
Fyneface stopped the kiss abruptly as he felt a stinging sensation on his tongue. Fyneface looked at the smirk on her face that she actually bite him when he was enjoying the kiss.
The crowd continued cheering loudly oblivious to what happened and Fyneface felt like his life was going to be interesting from that moment.
“My mouth is not your food and I told you I'll make you regret this marriage starting from now on” Felicia said to Fyneface but he smirked ignoring the pain on his tongue.
“Welcome the lastest couple in town” someone from the crowd shouted as the projector displayed some of their pictures which were obviously photoshopped together distracting them momentarily.
Everyone was just focused on the happy ceremony and no even one noticed that Mrs. Esther was standing far away from the crowd with a painful look on her face.
Her expression turned to that of strong hatred as she stared at Felicia before turning around and quietly left the hall.
Few hours after the wedding party ended and the newly wed left, Esther walked into Sharon's room sadly and stared at her daughter who had a large bandage on her head. Sharon was asleep on the bed looking peaceful quite opposite from her behavior.
Esther sat on the bed and pat Sharon's hair slowly and after few minutes, Sharon slowly opened her eyes and requested for water which her mother hurriedly handed over to her.
“Mom, what happened?” Sharon asked but her mom couldn't say anything then Sharon sat up and held her head in pain. Immediately, she gasped remembering everything that had happened.
“Mom, you have to take me to the wedding immediately. We have to stop that girl” Sharon said trying to stand up from the bed but her mom pushed her back to the bed gently.
“It's of no use Sharon because the the wedding is over and they already left” Esther said and Sharon sat down frozen as she stared into space. She couldn't seem to comprehend the sudden news her mother justs said to her
“Sharon, you should have listened to my instructions.” Esther cautioned but it seem like Sharon didn't hear anything as she continued to stare into space.
Meanwhile at the Fyneface's mansion Felicia greeted her in-laws who welcomed her warmly. All of Fyneface relatives seem happy to have her in their family and they kept on talking about Fyneface embarrassing moments and all other things she didn't really need to know. Meanwhile someone was checking the time impatient for people to vacate his house but eventually, Newstyle looked up and noticed his brother's expression then he laughed
“Hello everyone, it's time for us to vacate the newly weds house as someone seems impatient to start their honeymoon” Newstyle said and everyone looked at Fyneface and laughed as most of them dropped their gifts and left the mansion.
Fyneface's parents were the last to leave but before they left, his mum hugged Felicia and said something to Fyneface.
“Work hard and give us healthy grandchildren as soon as possible” Mrs Ken said and Felicia blushed then everyone burst into laughter at her flushed expression before they left.
As soon as they got back inside Felicia asked
“Why is the house so silent and empty, don't you have servants?” Felicia asked
“I gave them one week leave for us to enjoy our honeymoon” Fyneface answered cheekily but Felicia glared at him and turned to leave the room when he stopped her.
“Woah hey where are you going to ain't you going to prepare dinner? I'm famished” Fyneface asked rubbing his hungry stomach but Felicia laughed and asked him a question
“So you expect me to go to the kitchen and cook for you?” Felicia asked mockingly
“Of course, isn't that part of a wife duties?” Fyneface asked but Felicia looked at him
“I'm so exhausted to cook for you dear husband so go in to the kitchen and cook for yourself Felicia said,
then she turned to leave again but Fyneface dragged her into the kitchen and locked the kitchen, hiding the keys in his pocket.
“None of us will leave until you cook something unless we'll die on our very first day of marriage,”
Fyneface said dramatically and Felicia thought she would prefer to die but she's too young to be a widow so she decided to cook something quick.
“Well, if I'm cooking then you have to assist me in cooking” Felicia said to Fyneface who was stunned by what she just said because he has never touched anything in the kitchen ever since he was born talk less of cooking but he nodded because he was very hungry to care.
Felicia smiled and thought of what to give him before finally giving him onions to chop.
Staring at the confused expression on his face, she smirked and Fyneface carried the onions and looked at the knife with the onion weirdly.
“How am I supposed to do this?” Fyneface asked Felicia who smiled as she explained to him
“You have to peel off the layers of the onions before cutting the top and the bottom then lift it up close to your eyes and count the layers as you peel them” Felicia said and Fyneface looked at her suspiciously,
“Why do I have to put the onions close to my eyes and count the layers?”Fyneface asked and Felicia responded immediately
“It makes the dish taste sweeter, It's my secret recipe” Felicia said and Fyneface nodded and did as she said.
Felicia kept on glancing at him from where she was cooking as she tried hard to hold her laughter as she watched Fyneface count the onions layers seriously but Fyneface started to blink his eyes as they felt hot and sore. He stopped counting it and used his hands to rub his eyes furiously in pain.
“My eyes are on fire” Fyneface said but Felicia kept making fun of him and she still encouraged him to continue
“You have to keep peeling the onions like that” Felicia said but Fyneface finally realized she tricked him so he walked over to the door and ran out of kitchen with tears coming out of his sore eyes.
Felicia finally let out all the laughter she has been holding in her before she continued cooking.
Fyneface sat on the couch in his room and waited for Felicia to come out of the shower as he thought of how to repay her for tricking him into peeling onions.
He had to bath and she didn't stop laughing while they were eating.
As soon as she came out, Fyneface gulped hard trying not to let her white nightdress distract him.
"I won't fall for her seductive look this time and I'll have to Fyneface said as he stood up, took a pillow and a bedsheet before throwing it on the floor.
“You'll have to sleep on the floor as your punishment for what you did to me earlier” Fyneface said but Felicia laughed and climbed ontop of the bed.
“No, you will sleep on the floor and I'll take the bed”
“How dare you try to command me in my own room and on my own bed?” Fyneface asked arrogantly.
“Dear husband, have you forgotten that this is now our room and our bed so I also have the right to command you” Felicia answered as she gritted her teeth but then she stood and went to the door opening it preparing to leave.
“Where are you going?” Fyneface asked.
“I'm going to the other room to call my mother in-law and complain to her of how badly my husband is treating me on our wedding night. I'll even show her the room as proof” Felicia said as she left the room but Fyneface hurriedly got up and left the room to follow her because he can't allow her to complain to his mum.
But it's like she disappeared cause Fyneface couldn't find her and when he became tired of searching for her, he went back to the room and was shocked to find a pillow and his phone outside the room and the door was locked.
"Damnit, he fooled me again" Fyneface said complaining angrily
“Felicia, open this door right now” Fyneface said
“Go to other rooms and don't disturb my sleep” Felicia answered sleepily.
Fyneface became angry and kicked the door angrily before braking his phone with the pillow and left. He entered a random room and slept thinking of what he'll do to Felicia the next day.
The next morning Fyneface was awoken by the sound of his phone and when he looked at the screen, he noticed that it was his friends that were video calling him so he rushed to the bathroom and left the tap on before taking the call.
"Hey bro, how did the wedding night go and where's your wife?" they asked immediately he picked the call
"She's in the shower right now and I'm not telling you guys how my wedding night went" Fyneface said in a way that he wanted them to believe that something actually happened.
They continued chatting until one of his friends made an observation which spoilt the vibe.
"Bro, the background of the room looks like the one I stay in anytime I come over to your house" Karl said and the others looked and nodded before staring at him suspiciously.
Fyneface had no idea of what to do so he ended the call and switched off his phone.
"What the hell, i should have checked the room first" Fyneface said.
"That feisty thing will have to pay for this" Fyneface angrily said as he stood up and left his room to look for her.
Felicia rolled on the bed as a distant sound gradually woke her up. As soon as she woke up fully, she sat up and switched off the alarm on her phone then stretched her sore hands and neck.
She had a wonderful night without that troublesome playboy but his king size bed was not soft at all then she suddenly missed her princess bed at home.
Felicia checked the time on her phone and gasped.
"That Playboy must be awake now and probably on the way to this room to have his revenge" Felicia thought as she hurriedly looked around searching for a way to escape but then she finally went to the cupboard checked her own side of the clothes, took her soap, shampoo and towel before running towards the bathroom.
As she got to the bathroom door, she heard a sudden loud knock which frightened her. She looked back and smirked before entering the bathroom and shut the door.
"He's too late to catch me now" Felicia said triumphantly
"What the hell is she doing? Fyneface thought as he knocked on the door. He has been knocking for some minutes but she refused to open the door and just then Paschal appeared beside him and bowed.
“Sir, your secretary has been trying to call you but has not been going through so she called me because you have an urgent meeting today with Vinal Company” Paschal said but when he saw that Fyneface wanted to protest, he continued
“They've already payed fifty million dollars into the premium account so you can't cancel the meeting sir” Paschal said and Fyneface sighed.
"The premium account again" Fyneface said as he nodded but before Paschal could leave, Fyneface instructed him to fetch him the spare key to his room.
Paschal stood confused wondering why he was locked outside his room but Fyneface glared at him and he walked away.
"That bitch is the one to be blamed for this predicament I'm in and I'll definitely teach her a lesson when I get into the room" Fyneface said angrily as he waited for Paschal to bring the keys because to him that was a brilliant idea on teaching Felicia a lesson.
When Fyneface walked into the room, he heard sounds of water coming from the bathroom.
"Oh so that's why she didn't open the door earlier" Fyneface thought as he picked his outfit, made a phone call and waited for her to come out. Few minutes later, she came out in just a towel with water glistening on her smooth and flawless looking skin.
Fyneface gulped hard and tried to stop his rod from rising.
Felicia looked up and noticed him then she became surprised. She held her towel tightly to stop it from falling.
