Damien's pov
I was bombarded with so many questions from Rian and she's getting suspicious of so many things going on around us,it not like I was happy keeping her in the dark about my identity and all but I just worry she might not take it well given how we first met,the first impression was bad after all...tonight myself and Douglas was meant to meet at my place alongside Rian that's how I planned on telling her the truth but I changed plans at the last minute cause I wasn't ready or you can say I just didn't know how I was going to let her know the truth about me...
Douglas fought with me over the change In plans after our discussion at the office earlier on...he said he's worried if I take too long to let Rian know my identity that's it's going to affect our relationship after all and that really scares the hell outta me. I calmed her down before telling her what's on my mind,Rian stop getting worked up over nothing I told her and she replied if that's the case maybe you should start talking and stop making it look like there's a skeleton in your cupboard she said rolling her eyes at me I just smiled at her childish behavior and try cajoling her a little to ease the tensed atmosphere already.
I'm not worried about Douglas asking us to leave because I paused and thought about how to say it all ,well myself and Douglas are friends or should I calm It brothers.we didn't want the company knowing I know him that closely so it wouldn't look bad when our news got out at first,and I don't know Falcon Dior I told her ,that's a secret Douglas isn't letting anyone in on though when it's time Falcon will show himself to the world when he's ready..Are you sure about everything you said tonight Rian asked still giving me looks of doubts,yes I'm sure there's a bit of truth in what I've told her though Douglas and I are friends from childhood and we turned brothers over the years he's been my confidant and partner so far and has helped me underground but the truth behind my identity is what I still lied about cause I'm not fully ready to let her know who I truly am..
My parents are requesting I bring Rian home to them and as much as I wanted to do that I can't until my identity part has been sorted for now she still belives I'm orphaned and I'm not just ready to talk ,I looked at the time on the wall and it was showing 7:35pm and I just suggested Rian spending the night with me and we leave for work together tomorrow morning I was given a response I wasn't happy with o didn't come prepared to sleep that's all she said when she picked her back and was getting ready to leave ..I had no choice but to let her go so i stood up walked over to the shelf that I keep my car keys and picked my key so I can drop her off at home..
