On a second thought, Berverly was right even if I don't like her much, it's best if Avery tells her family she's gay. Carie was upset over Belle and Diana's attitude and comments and I know I had to calm her before she exploded on everyone.
After the little drama earlier, everyone got calm and we enjoyed the party. My best friend and sister wished me a long and prosperous marriage and I was more than happy for it even if the other four didn't wish me well.
"Well Berverly!" Belle started. "I hope today marks the beginning of a new era for you and Alex, and he realizes you're a real wife not some slut, who uses her body to keep him to herself!" She added and I frowned.
Now I understand the reason they're here, bridal shower is meant to be celebrated by the bride's Family and friends who wishes her well not some gang of witches who were not invited in the first place.
I really don't have much friends in my life, my only friends back then was mum, aunt Amelia and Sage, they were more than enough. This act Belle just pulled was so uncalled for and I got irritated.
I realized there was no way I could have a peaceful party with my enemies, they always had something up on their sleeve. "I thought you should already know her time is almost up. She's just a contracted wife anyway!" She stared at me with an innocent smile on her lips.
"Contract wife.... They always do the most. Hazel I bet your sick mother was contracted too right?" Maya couldn't stop laughing. For the past few days, I've been trying really hard to control my emotions when people come at me but right then I didn't think I could be the bigger person anymore.
"These words shouldn't be coming from you Belle, cause everything you have and own up until this moment belongs to my mother!" I started to see her frown. "Let's just say your father, cause he can't possibly be my father. A man whore, who ran after my mother for so many years just to steal her father's inheritance!" I've been blind for so many years, overlooking the things my father did to mother, but now, I'm no longer blind anymore.
"Everything you and your family are is because of my mum. Tell your freeloader of a mother to be thankful she's alive today because of my mother. The woman you called a slot did what your good for nothing mother could not do in her entire existence!" I smiled.
"I can also see you girls following the same trail, beggers looking for the next prey to feed on. You should be happy I consider you a family or else you all should be in prison for fraud!" I just thought I should scare this two a little. I couldn't get enough of their shocked faces.
"I would not have you insult my mother Hazel!" Diana said sternly. "And you think badmouthing my mother was cool. Why not have a taste of your own medicine?" I retorted back. The moment they went about my mother, I had to taunt them with what I've learnt so far from that monster.
"That's a lie!" Belle retorted furiously. "If you doubt my words, why not reflect back on when your family become wealthy? Was your wealth from birth? If I'm not mistaken it should be around the time he got back from his long trip, and you all forgave him because he turned out to be rich" I said calmly allowing my words to sink in their heads.
I met Berverly's gaze, "You always emphasize on the fact that I'm a contracted wife, which everyone is already aware of and that is a big thanks to you. I think you're actually trying to encourage yourself cause maybe perhaps you see me as a threat?" I tilted my head to the side without moving my gaze from her.
Berverly narrowed her eyes at me and then her lips curled. "Threat? Coming from someone who got ditched on her engagement party!" She scoffed. "That was because you went behind everyone to kiss my man, and you have the guts to call me a slot!"
"Your Man? Last I checked you were hired!" She let out a dry laugh. "If Alex wanted anything to do with you, he would have let me go the moment you threw yourself at him!" I said sternly to see her her eyes widened a little before composing her self.
"It seems you're the one running after him, reminding him of all the stupid promise you guys made when you were STILL LITTLE even if you cheated and left with his cousin!" It was time I told her what has been on my mind against her cause I was beginning to have cheast pain from storing these things.
"You have no right to interfare in my personal life!" She raised her voice at me and I didn't hesitate to raise mine. "And what gave you the right to interfare in my Life?"
"You made Alex kill Rafael thinking you could separate us, do you know how much damage that stupid action of yours caused?"
"That is just the beginning, prepare to repair more damages until you'd get tired of repairing. Let's see how strong your relationship with YOUR MAN can be!" She walked out with the other three trailing behind her.
Tonight was supposed to be like every other bridal shower, but mine would always be different cause I live around psycopaths.
"Hazel that's enough they're gone now!" Carie patted my back and sage got closer to us for a hug. "Why were they here in the first place if they don't like me?" I blinked to push back the tears already at the verge of falling.
"You know the answer to that, they just want to ruin your once in a life time party!" Sage said. We sat down on the couch and I picked a bottle of wine to drink. Pouring the liquid into a glass, "Well they failed!" I took a sip still thinking about what happened.
I wouldn't have lost control of my emotions if my mum was not mentioned. Berverly's last words did not leave my mind as I thought about it over and over again. She just blindly admitted she caused Rafael's death.
"What nerve?" Berverly murmured as she left the house with Maya. "That naive fool is beginning to know what she's not supposed to, and to think I underestimated her before!" Maya laughed as they got into the car not minding the other two trailing behind them.
"I'll put her in her place soon!" Berverly exhaled roughly placing her head back on the sit of the car as the chauffeur accelerated with Max speed out of the Wilson's Mansion.
Belle couldn't get Hazel's words off her mind, how can they leave off of the woman they mock everyday. It was not possible, their father cannot be a theif. He worked hard for everything he owned.
They left the Wilson's Mansion still buried in their thoughts. It seams Xavier had some unwanted questions to answer.
🎅 COMPLEMENT OF THE SEASON🤶

The day was finally here, my wedding day. I could already here the church bells ringing in my head. The day everyone has been anticipating was here, the day I walk down the isle to bound my marriage with Alex. Whatever transpired the previous night was now in the past, and I've decided to finally let bygones be bygones.
The brewing nervousness in my belly never stopped, the more I thought about today the more anxious I got. I got off the bed looking at the two girls sleeping beside me. Carie would definitely not talk to me this morning not after the fight we had the previous night concerning drinking.
It was clearly stated by the doctor that she should avoid all forms of alcholic drinks cause of the babies. But my baby is so stubborn, more stubborn than I am.
My feet got into my pink slippers beside the bed and I stroded to the Balcony, for fresh air, that was all I needed at that moment cause the room felt suffocating. The wedding is a night wedding so I have the whole day to prepare and get myself ready.
I breath in the cold refreshing air into my body and let it all out after the large intake. Slowly I could feel my nerves calming down a little. I continued my actions till I felt a little better.
After a while of receiving fresh air, I got back into the room when the morning sun had already started to burn my skin. Having a wierd skin texture was the last thing I needed, especially today when all eyes would be on me.
"You're awake!" I said to Sage who just got out of the bathroom in a pink robe. "Hm, have you had your bath?" "No I was at the balcony I needed fresh air!" I shifted my gaze around the room before returning it to her, "Where's Carie?"
"She went out to get ready so we could head out to a place she set out for us!" Sage smiled and I nodded leaving her in there, I headed to I and Alex's room. I was nervous and excited at the same time.

There would be an update of one chapter daily for now, if you've noticed you'd realized the chapter is longer than the former.

"Alex are you done? If we don't leave now we might not make it to your wedding!" Lukas called the man still sleeping on the bed. They were meant to be heading to NYC at that hour so they would get there in time but the man on the bed didn't seem to react to his call. He was hellbent on frustrating everyone that morning.
"If you end up hurting Hazel cause of your reluctant attitude.......!" Lukas didn't finish his words as he saw the man jump off the bed rushing into the bathroom to clean up. Lukas chuckled at his friends attitude. Alex has never been scared of any woman before but he couldn't understand why he was scared of his temporary wife and always keen to her command.
In less than ten minutes Alex got out of the bathroom and stroded to his closet and in the next 20 mins he was out and ready to leave. "Where's Benson?" His deep voice was finally heard. "He's at the jet terminal waiting for us since you refuse to get off the bed!" Said Lukas slightly upset.
"Why didn't you wake me up, you know how important today is for me? What happened to having a friend's back? I can't believe you guys!" It was true they all got wasted last night but not Benson and Lukas, those two decided to be on the lookout since they wasted themselves the previous night.
"I won't say a word to you Alex. I checked out five minutes ago so let's go!" Alex picked his bag and they both left for the airport.
"Have you called home yet?" Asked Alex to his friends since he could not find his phone. "I've been trying to reach my baby but she's been ignoring my calls!" Lukas complained. He was frustrated cause he had no idea what he's done this time.
When Carie ignores him, his world is completely turned upside down until he sees her and embrace her and she tells him everything is fine.
As a man, Lukas has tried his best to be faithful to just her even with his player nature. A trait he took from his grandfather the man who raised him to be who he is. "What should I do?" He asked his friends, both men were lost in their thoughts.
Ben had pressing business issues with his recent company, at first he thought he could handle it alone, but now he knew he couldn't and he was stucked. Alex thought about his wedding, a little anxious but nothing he could't handle. His feet clicked the floor making little sound as his serious gaze was focused at a direction.
With both men totally out of the universe, Lukas decided to swallow his problems for now, but he knew when a woman you love doesn't pick your calls it means there is trouble.
Carie his clinging little woman, who couldn't go a day without calling was now rejecting his calls all of a sudden. His wrist vibrated due to how anxious he felt inside.
"It's already 9am, time is the only thing we don't have Hazel!" Carie said as we walked into a saloon. "Welcome to El'veve!" The female receptionist at the counter welcomed us in politely with a cute smile on her face. "Carie Wilson!" Her eyes widened.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting ma'am!"
"Who would you like to get your massage done, male or female!" She gestured her hands to the two people now standing before us. Tyler looked hot and attractive the same goes to peace.
"I want the ladies!" I was uncomfortable with women touching me already, I didn't want to add men to my problems. We changed our clothes and got on the massage bed for the masseuse to get to work. "By 2pm the dance instructor would be at the mansion for our parctice cause of the dance mum choosed for the reception!" Said Carie.
She was not lying with her tommy as she was pregnant. Sage had less to say cause she was not yet used to all of these. I was like her too, thanks to Carie I would have been a loner in this part of the world.
We got back home after our massage, manicures and pedicures section, not to forget I also had my hair done too. We also had to stop at a boutique to get clothes for Sage since she had nothing to wear.
Arriving at the entrance of the mansion, Leonard and his maids rushed out to welcome us and also carry our bags. The further we got into the mansion the more noise we heard coming from the lounge.
It sounded like Mother and Grandma's voice, they were yelling at someone, but their words were not clear since they were in the mansion. But the closer we got in, the closer their words got clear. Who were they yelling at??
