Chương 5: Training
While Jay and I were walking through the castle to get to the practice area where Cole was already waiting for us, Jay suddenly turned to me
He looked down and apologized "I'm sorry... about yesterday" It seemed like that had been bothering him all night
"It's okay, it's not that bad" I tried to cheer him up but he was still a little sad
'Cause the whole way I just yawned I was just dog tired I mean it's 10 in the morning of course I'm tired
But we finally arrived and Jay was already waiting for us, sitting against the wall next to the entrance and writing something on his laptop
'I still don't understand why he uses such a laptop there are newer versions' his laptop was built at a time when the technology wasn't that advanced….
'Well if he likes it'
He got up and walked over to me and jay "So for your training in a week I've been doing stats all night to improve your skills it would be quickest if Solz could help you but he's busy right now" he was still talking non stop further that I stopped listening and worried he would get out of breath
"Got it," he asked while showing me a graphic on his laptop
"Yes"
'No' I didn't understand a word, I didn't even listen
'I just do what he says'
"What do we start with," I asked him he glanced at his laptop and looked back at me "Trying to run 8 km in 10 minutes"
"...."
"....."
"... What?"
Jay and I knew that while it's not impossible for someone two ranks higher, 10 minutes is way too impossible for me
But Cole didn't know about my capability
"Or how about Luciel and I have a fight and you analyze it and say what we could have done better" Jay suggested and Cole agreed that I could also run better than 3 miles in 10 minutes
"So get your sword out Luciel," Cale said as he pulled on pointy blue iron gauntlets
I pulled my sword out of my space ring
It was a single-edged sword but completely straight not curved like a katana and had no guard/tsuba

Jay and I walked to the centre of the circle and got ready to start
Cole sat back down and signalled for us to start "GO"
And straight away Jay was in front of me and took out a punch
I took a step back and tried to avoid him, but unfortunately, I couldn't completely avoid him
*poow*
I had a wound on my left cheek and a little bit of blood flowed out
Jay tried to close the distance and pounded me non-stop
I had my hands full trying to dodge or block and I couldn't even do that properly
"You've gotten weaker" Jay said while his fists continued to hail at me "Yeah, I think so too" was my answer
But after a few minutes, I couldn't do it anymore. My stamina is almost gone
'Fuck what now?' I thought to myself as I breathed more and more heavily. My body was also covered in small wounds
Jay jumped way back and looked over at me with a serious grimace "If you don't train you'll die in the dungeon for sure" he positioned himself as he said it
I agreed it wasn't just that I'm out of practice it's that I never really fought like that back then...I don't know why I never liked the idea of a 'direct' fight and never will
But unfortunately, Father was not so impressed with my way of "fighting" he said it was "dishonourable"
'Honestly, I don't give a fuck about honour' I thought to myself as I thought back to how father insulted my fighting style I never liked the word honor never in war for example it doesn't matter how we win I'll take any trick I find
As I started to lose myself in thought, Jay immediately jumped over to me and knocked me down with a punch from the right
*BOOM*
I flew all over the room and hit the wall remembering again that Jay's strength is B- and that at the age of 14, he truly is a talent
Cole raised his hand ending the duel between me and jay, Jay immediately walked over to me and apologized for hitting me so far I told him it was ok
Cole also came over to me and kept looking at his laptop and typed something in "So with the data now I can create a training plan for you that will only improve one stat in a week but that stat has to be in the G range"
I was very surprised that he could plan something like this with just one fight and that it could even be possible so quickly. I thought back to the fight and tried to analyze it thoroughly
'When I think about it I've had my hands full defending I'm fast that's one of my advantages but it's no good if I can't land a shot' I said while looking through my status screen

'You can't level charm anyway'
To be honest, no one knows how to improve charm, but it should be possible. There should also be artifacts for this in Necrom, our kingdom even has one

'I can't improve anyway except mana and stamina…. I like to use ice magic but I think that works best for me in open places not something like a cave although some dungeons are like forests or other' So I scrapped the idea of improving my mana
'My stamina is the best idea I couldn't breathe after 10 minutes in the fight against Jay' I would have chosen stamina either way, I'm sure
I looked over at Cole he looked back at me and I said to him "I want to improve my stamina this is currently G+"
and without wasting any time, Cole quickly typed something into his laptop and showed me my one-week training plan…. what I saw shook me
