Chương 7: Chapter 7_ Strange Forces
During lunch, I was going to the cafeteria to get something when Eleanor and Eve stop me, blocking my way.
"Hi Keisha, where are you heading to?"
I ignore them and continue walking. I don't think I'll be needing them anymore. I just have to find my way around Skylar myself. They stopped me again standing on my way. "We just asked you a question and trust me, I detest being ignored." Eleanor muttered.
"I'm heading to the cafeteria."
"That's right, it actually lunch time. We were also heading there too. You don't mind if we join you right?"
"I do mind. I prefer eating alone. Please excuse me"
"Wait, we just want t to apologize for the other day. I mean the coffee thing. I'm sorry but you know, it was really fun, right Eleanor?"
"I guess that right." She answered and giggled.
"Any ways, to apologize for what we did, we got you something."
"Apologize accepted. Thanks for whatever you got for me but trust me, I don't need it so keep it to yourselves."
"C'mon, we just apologize. Don't tell me you are still mad about that little joke. At least learn to take a joke.
"And you learn to make one." I repeated and walked pass then. Walking away, I noticed they were still standing glaring at me and I ignore them. They aren't worth time.
At the cafeteria, I went to an empty table with my food. Liam later joined me. He observed the little food in my tray.
"Do you always eat this little?" He asked.
"yeah.
"Now I know the reason for this body of yours. I'll advise you add to this next time so you add a little weight." He said and made little laughs. It seems funny to him but definitely not to me.
Jezz! How'd I ended up with this guy? I can't keep up with him being like this all the time. He just ruins my appetite with his tough and I feel like cutting that tough off and padlock his mouth. I turn and saw Skylar sitting alone. His food was on the table untouched while he focuses on his phone with ear pods on. I had to ask him about last night. I thought and didn't hesitate before picking up my tray and left for Skylar table leaving Liam in thoughts.
"What was that? Did I say something wrong?" Liam question himself.
"Hey" I said putting my tray on the table and sitting down. He removed the ear pod off his ear.
"Hey"
"Huh, you're not eating?
"I am eating.
"Okay. About last night….
"Shush." He shut me up at once with a finger on my lips and then removed it. "It won't be nice discussing that right here. Wait for me when it closed time. We'll discuss that while I take you home."
"Alright" I muttered
"What's with this two? It hasn't been long since she came to this school and they're already this closed?" Eve said to her flabbergasted friends. They have been watching on Keisha even before she left for Skylar table.
"Something is not right." Eleanor added.
"Yeah, something is definitely not right. She can't come from nowhere and take my man away from me. I think I know exactly what to do." Appalled Alice added. She was dying in anger as she hits the fork in her hand on the table severally.
I was standing alone outside the school patiently waiting for Skylar to come as he said but he wasn't yet here. I had no other option but to keep waiting. I have to know if he knows something so I can report to my mother. I was still standing when Alice and her accompanist came out from heaven knows where.
"Grab her." Alice ordered and Eleanor and Eve grab my arms. As they hold unto me, I felt strong forces around my arms and immediately I felt weak. They took me away from the sight of people and tied me to a poll.
"I was trying to be nice but it seems to me like you prefer it the hard way. Now I'll go straight to point. Why were you in my boyfriend car this morning?"
"Who do you mean?" I asked.
"Of course you know."
"Wait, Skylar? Skylar is your boyfriend?" I asked pretending I had no idea. I give a humorous smile. "I don't want to believe that was the reason for all those sweet talks earlier and efforts you brought here for."
"That wasn't the answer my question required."
"Go to hell bitches."
A porch landed on my nose immediately I complete the statement and I spit out blood from my mouth. Just a single porch could made me spite out blood. This is quite unusual I thought.
"Now I will ask you this just once. What were you doing in my man's car this morning? Why did you two come to school together?"
"Go to hell." I mumbled again.
"I see you are playing the smart ass." Alice said as she walk to me and folded some tissue into my mouth. She brought out a fat stick and handed it over to Eleanor and at once I felt a strong pain from behind. As she hit me, I felt some powerful forces hitting me.
After several hitting, she unties my mouth. "I will ask you this last time, why did you come to school together with my man?"
"Fuck you bitch." I said in pain spitting out more blood.
"I like the smart ass type. It fun dealing with them." She covered my mouth back and she raises the stick to hit me and stopped when we heard a voice from behind. "Stop!"
It was Skylar.
