The story was ok in the beginning but later it became boring and uninteresting The author did a good job all the best for your new book i wish i can enjoy your new book
male hero is the worst one. He doesn't deserve FL. why don't you introduce a new ML? The current one is pathetic no more chances to be given, many 2nd chances but he doesn't cherish them
The book is generic and cliche. The characters are one dimensional in fact it feels as if the characters don't have a dept to them. That's my opinion.
Was actually going well with it until suddenly ALL characters had a name change. For example, the ML started out as Jiang Yu and suddenly became Daniel Marshall. I can’t be bothered trying to work out who is who now. It’s really disappointing that I wasted coins on such a sh*tty effort by the translator/author. I want my money back 😑

I read the first few free chapters and realised that my time was wasted for a toxic novel. I don't know why these authors feel that disrespectful cold toxic abusive ML changing for better is a trend to follow. plain disgusting 🤢
Love the story, but hating the change of Asian names to English. It’s confusing to many readers but luckily the plot is good and you catch on if you like the book and continue. Lesson 1. Pick the names you like for your characters, it’s your choice after all, and stick with it. It’s like you want readers to drop the book instead of going on.
A DISGUSTINGLY TOXIC STORY! IT'S FRUSTRATED ME UNTIL I'M CRYING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. I WANNA STRANGLE BOTH MAIN CHARACTERS AND AUTHOR BECAUSE IT'S REMIND ME OF MY PAST EXPERIENCES!!THE NAMES SUDDENLY GET WESTERNIZE IN THE MIDDLE!!
well, the characters stopped being Asian and became Anglo-Saxon out of the blue, but that's actually a quibbleThis is a toxic story where a man uses his brute forse and economic power to subdue a nice capable and attractive (in the first chapters ) woman. And there is no understanding why (as far as I go anyway ). the Ml is just a pigheaded boor and sadistic to boot. really not my cup of tea. Glad I never even spent a FP on this

The story changes the plot. Can't understand what is happening. So confusing, it is as if you merge 2 books into 1?!!!
The story and characters changed after a few chapters without an explanation. The plot is unclear and I am unable to make sense of the story.

This story makes me feel stuffy and bad. Everyone is against the FML. Feels very forceful. (read until chapter 15)

This is a toxic story line. Are there less problem in real life that i have read about this kind of family? I am leaving it. Today whichever story i tried to read all of them are like this.

Just read the 20 chapters and I already know I won't be continuing. I thought this would be like other novels where it's sweet and fluffy but it's so abusive and frustrating. The ML literally choked her twice already and his family is too "traditional". Sure it seems like the ML is helping her out behind the scenes but I can never put up with a person that lays their hands on a girl and that seemed more like he didn't want her to ruin the family's image. The storyline is pretty good if you're into it but the novel is already too toxic and not for me. Novel is hateful.
