The Crown of the Ocean was centered around the Lord's Castle. The best development was on the east side with a bustling port area, while the north side was an industrial area with many workshops and warehouses. The only relatively open space near the Lord's Castle was on the west side.

Apart from scattered cottages, there were some jungle plantations in the area. However, these could all be relocated to make space for wonders.
