“Do we seriously have to carry this thing?” Xermohansier whined.
“Oh, I’m sorry, you’re carrying what now?” Maria stared down.
The little orb gulped without an answer.
They were walking through the castle-
A castle at the center of hell. At least this layer of hell.
Hell was divided into 99 layers.
Each layer was apparently different and had different punishments.
But one thing was the same everywhere.
Castles.
“Empty?” Maria wondered at the very end of the corridor.
She’d been walking through that corridor for hours.
Millions of people wailing and screaming, almost all tied down.
And apparently, today wasn’t even one of the punishment days?
But the moment Maria crossed a certain range, the screams stopped.
There was no one else around.
The castle corridor was still the same.
Large ceiling, infinite space as far as the eyes could see.
And massive pillars seemingly holding the fort down.
