Bang, clank, bang!
Everything was dark when I opened my eyes. I looked around, and moonlight shone through the small windows. I reached for Logan, and my hand fell limply onto the cold bed.
Then everything came rushing back... the wedding... Logan carrying me back to this bed. When I sat up and looked out the window, we were on the ground.
We must be refueling, and Logan must have gone to check on everything and to speak with the pilot.
I ran my hand along my stomach, and there was a little pooch. I smiled, knowing I would probably be visibly showing by the time we got back from our honeymoon.
I slid out of bed and opened the door, holding my hand up to block out the light. It was much too bright.
“Hello, Mrs. Kahn,” Evelyn greeted her when she came out of the bedroom. “Prince Kahn is outside, stretching his legs for a bit.”
